4-star ATH/WR/DB Tim Irvin of Westminster (FL.) will officially visit Texas on November 8th, per 24/7.
He was/is considered a longshot and Miami lock, but it's step in the right direction.

Update on TE Chris Clark of Avon, CT who has set his official visit to Texas for December 6th (24/7):
“I wouldn’t be thinking about other schools right now if it wasn’t for what’s going on at Michigan,” Clark said. “To me, it’s almost embarrassing what’s going on with the program and what they’re putting out on the field, which is why I’m doing what I’m doing.”
“This is one of these decisions where it’s out of my hands,” Clark said. “I’m not going to go to a school where there is a new staff, and I have no idea who they are. I had a great relationship with these coaches at Michigan, and it’s one that I developed over a long period of time. And if it changes, I have every right, just like all the other commits in the class do, to look elsewhere.”
“I’m really excited about the visit,” Clark said. “I love Coach Strong, and both my mom and dad do. I think it’s just a good opportunity in (Texas’) offense to come in early and do some good things. (The coaching staff) did a lot with tight ends at Louisville and they want to do a lot with tight ends at Texas. But they don’t really have too many right now and they just need to develop the ones they have. I think in a year or two, the tight ends are going to be really good thing in the offense.”
“I really want to go to an offense where the quarterback can throw the ball and is a pass-first type of guy,” Clark said. “I know (Tyrone) Swoopes can run really well, but he does have a pretty strong arm. With coach (Shawn) Watson, who is a great quarterback coach, I think he’s going to continue to develop him.”
“I want to find an offense where I can play standing in the slot or also set the edge in like a power or stretch,” Cark said. “I love being in the open field and stretching it vertically. And I think Texas really wants that and thinks they can do that. Their offense is a pretty good fit of what I want to do. You have to be a complete tight end, and I think they offer that.”

JUCO OT Brandon Hodges was scheduled to be in Austin on November 8th, but has to reschedule, according to 24/7.
"We have a State championship game," Hodges said.
Hamm has a long update regarding Daylon Mack and Malik Jefferson after their TCU visit.
"What this official visit did more than anything was open Mack’s mind to seeing other schools. In fact, look for Daylon to take officials to Baylor, Texas and possibly LSU."
Also, apparently Ohio State can't take Malik Jefferson for an official visit (I'm not entirely sure why), so that opens up an OV for Jefferson that could very well be Texas that would get that OV.
UT has released a statement that WR Roderick Bernard has torn his ACL and is out for the year.

supposedly he wasn't even in college station this weekend as he had gone home for the bye weekend. but there are rumors that the defense is getting very impatient with snyder and want him gone.
Anxious to see how A&M's defense reacts to everything this weekend.
Louisiana-Monroe is really bad offensively.
Saw they lost to Texas State so probably just the matchup A&M needs to get morale back up
