Texas looks very slow on both sides of the ball. They just don't have the speed like they did past two straight years. This game is very tough to watch.
think Manning is rattled, but he's given no time ini the pocket.
• Every time I see Stroh, he's on the ground.
• We had a Ccllin Simmons sighting. Briefly.
• Our DL and OL are getting manhandled.
• • Teaffe having an awful game.
• On the punt block, the guy who blocked it was never touched.
• Incredible that we were ranked #1 just a few weeks ago.
It's sadly evident at this point Sark was waaaaaaaay too bullish on his returning offensive players, specifically the OL where they didn't use the portal.
I'm surprised Sark hasn't tried to use tempo or go to a quick passing game with such a lack of protection.
Everything is so frustratingly hard and they're constantly behind the sticks.
Yea that's something that shocked me when I was seeing your transfer portal stuff in the spring. He put too much stock into a bunch of unknowns, which is weird because he thrived getting key skill players at WR past two years. Yea Texas OL is really bad, even in the cupcake games it's been super frustrating to watch. Also I don't know if Hill and Simmons are as great as we thought they were gonna be when it was their time to be the man. Those two have been almost non-existent, I think they benefited from playing with very great seniors on DL and LB who were hungry to put their past behind them and win a Natty.
This is Paul (aka Scipio) from IT speaking on something getting lost in roster management.
Damn... yea he isn't wrong and it sucks to hear
So much for recruiting big humans. Dont mean squat if you dont coach em.
From pre season #1 to maybe the fourth best team in the state. Sark has some splaining to do. More than the " we need to do a better job ",yaddah yaddah bs coach speak.
