My favorite line is talking about Texas' budget and a total lack of athleticism on the OL...
"If you have (talent) deficiencies, it's because you have selectively chosen them to be so."
My own opinion centers around the irony of it all...Sark, Flood and the personnel team chose to pass on the portal on several occasions due to potential expenses or a total miscalculation of talent/development on the roster, but now they're going to have to take a Texas Tech-like approach in December and spend way more than they would've had to originally to rectify the issue.
You're looking at up to four new starters on the OL alone, assuming Goosby returns.
He goes on to say Sark is calling a passing game like he has a stud OL (they had to take Stroh out at LG for being so bad) instead of turning to intermediate concepts/routes and screens to get the ball out of Arch's hand quickly and protect him from his own OL's lack of protection.
He also mentions Oklahoma's DL will feast if something doesn't change ASAP.
Sounds like Mack Brown after one of those oklahoma beat downs...smh
Wut? How?
No Mateer, I guess.
Problem is one can argue the offense in its current state is toast if they go down 10+ against a team with a decent D.
Press/crowd line of scrimmage
Do not let UT run
Guard the short passes
Pressure Arch and make him make plays mid to deep with pressure against crummy O-Line
Not feeling it against ou
Maybe we can win low scoring game
I'm sure some of you were wondering about this if you saw it live like I did.
I missed it. What was the purpose there, to stop the clock?
Yes. I believe that play it was 2nd and 1. Give them the first and clock stops.
