The test that Zimmerman would have passed was the Sanford Police Department test. “Deception: Not Indicated” after answering questions in a way to support self-defense claims only serve as a way for the, then Bill Lee’s, police department to release Zimmerman without charge.The only thing Sanford police wanted were “the right” answers. Humble’s company is simply in the business of selling a tool for investigators to use to illicit a reaction from interrogated persons. Neither NITV nor police and criminal agencies around the world expect such voice analysis to accurately tell whether or not anyone is telling the truth.In no way does this bootleg law enforcement tool give credence to George Zimmerman’s lies. It certainly does not vidicate Zimmerman of the murder of an unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. So yes, the test results say that deception was “not indicated” on Zimmerman’s two responses, but what difference does that make when the test is a lie too?!?And, as an aside, if police forces are using this tool to exonerate folks regardless of its validity, how plausible is it, then, that they are using it to incriminate innocent people?
