Iggy and Livingston are better in vacuum but both will command MORE money and unlike Manu, who'll be off the books next year, Livingston and Iggy will continue to eat away at the salary cap making it much more difficult to sign free agents in 2018. Also, both are moving from a flawless free flowing motion offense to a post up, mid range, who knows what offense. Golden State's system made those two players look a lot better than they actually are in reality. It won't take long for people to hate on Iggy when he looks like a homeless man's Danny Green missing his long range three's and 35% of his free throws. In today's you need to fight fire with fire. If you can't match a team's offensive fire power, you'll get left behind.
