It's all games from the OU side to keep Texas guessing, but I don't blame them and they did it a few years ago with Gabriel.
My guess is Mateer dresses out and even warms up, but the sideline reporter will eventually say something like "he wanted to play, but he's just not ready."
Earlier in the summer it was reported Texas had a great shot here if he reclassified, so we'll see if anything has changed with Miami being undefeated and Texas struggling.
