a_l, I give you on here, but here's the truth: you can quit all of your jobs if you want, proclaim it to the world, and sit around and eat bon bons or make a porno if you want. Ploto is a COMPLETE , and you should disregard pretty much everything she says. Crooky ain't any better. Their little catfight was pretty classic, though.

Why is it offensive? You believe that morality derives from a different source. Infact you believe morality derives from your own experiences in life, i don't hear Angel Luv crying about your choice of truth and morality.
There are only a small amount of ways to look at life as far as morality. This whole interfaith stuff is bull. All these gods, systems, or philosphies telling everyone they are the source of all truth can not all be right. Either one of them is telling the truth, none of them is telling the truth, the one who is the truth hasn't revealed himself, or morality and truth is innate in the human experience.
There is a sole divine source of absolute truth or there isn't one.

angel seems like one of the least ed at life people on this site. I don't care if you share her beliefs or not, they work well for her and she's happy with them. That's more than I can say for 96% of the people that attack her and her reglious beliefs. Plus she doesn't ever back down from the pileons, and she never seems as mean, nasty and downright ugly as the people attacking her come off.
The funniest part about these threads are that usually it's everyone trying to convert her to their way of seeing things rather than her trying to do that for them.

FWIW, I think work is in many ways a direct compe or and obstacle to a successful marriage. Sure it is a necessity, but when more time is spent working than spending your life with the person you married, the marriage is definitely taking a backseat. Too much work and not enough time together is definitely a negative that can leave you questioning the point of being married.
I don't see anything at all negative about quitting a second job if it can be done, it sure isn't a selfish move in and of itself. And besides, that's definitely up to the spouse, some spouses consider it a positive if their spouse doesn't work. Totally dependent upon the people involved if it is good move or not.

Probably the same thing that happened to her. You don't come up with the crazy belief that god talks to you on your own, you were brainwashed at some point in life. She's gonna brainwash her kids just like someone brainwashed her.

I blame 100% my aunt for brainwashing her. She isolated her in her childhood by homeschooling her for "religious reason".
I guess David Robinson's parents isolated him as well.
