Same pattern as the first 2 games. LA really knows how to deliver the first quarter knock-out.
    Durant with 2, that's brutal.
Lakers in full control. They're scary-good.
Why do you make so many posts praising the Lakers? Do you really think they're that good? They've played 3 close games and it was very predictable. This are two teams of similar quality and the series can go both ways.

Anyone dare to say Durant plays softly now?
Outplayed the best player in the universe down the stretch with killer D, clutch FG and FT shooting.

I mean, is this sarcasm or something? I think this board/Spurs fans overrate Kobe more than Lakers fans.

Tip of the hat to the Thunder! Great game and a lot of poise. LOL at everyone making it all about Kobe and Durant. Kobe played a good 1st half, Durant played a terrible first half but contributed with rebounds. Kobe played a terrible 4th quarter with some forced shots. In addition to the forced ones a couple of his shots were results of others standing around and/or dribbling and tossing it to him late in the clock. Still, you have to knock em down. He simply didn't. Durant (33%) Kobe (34%) Difference was Durant got his and was clutch in the 4th. Kudos. Durant led all players in rebs. Kobe led all players in assists.

Now, with all that said. The difference in this game was defense. The Thunder turned theirs up in the 4th with gritty team defense and contesting everything. The Lakers resorted to standing around and reaching in. Brooks switching Durant on Kobe was a brilliant move. You are never going to win a game where you allow the the opposition to go to the line 34 to your 12. Never. (17 pt differential) Ouuuch. Pathetic D.

Westbrook is a beast and even though Fish actually shot well, his turnstyle D is just horrible but it's not like that is a surprise.

Did Lamar make the trip? I didn't see him. What a friggen ghost.

The Thunder out hustled and out defensed the Lakers in the 2nd half and deserved the win. Gustsy performance for a young team that showed veteran composure.

    quick recap:

    lakers:
    defending NBA champs
    number 1 western conference seed
    tons of playoff experience

    thunder:
    8 seed
youngest team in the playoffs (league?)
    next to no playoff experience
    relocated franchise

their first win, but could easily be up 2-1 at this point.

lol @ all the haters and laker nut huggers

Sucks that OKC is some poor coaching in game 2 away from having a series lead IMO..that's part of inexperience though, nothing you can do about it..be happy with the wins, and try to get another one at home..I still think LA wins in 5, but they certainly don't look too good..

+1....The Thunder made the Lakers look pretty old/slow on some possesions...and how the Thunder outrebound the way bigger frontline of the Lakers by so much was a pretty big surprise..

Do you think Stern is tempted to make this series go to 7 games? Is it possible he might want Kevin Durant to advance to the 2nd round this year? Personally, I would love to see the Lakers blow a 2-0 lead in the first round. Sadly, this will not happen. The rapist will probably have 40 in the next game and get to the line at least 15 times. Lakers probably in 5 or 6.

29 and 19 for Durant last night...OKC owned the boards...if the Thunder tie the series, watch out!!! I still think the Lakers win the series, though. They're just too deep.

nothing more than a big in' whine fest ..... that's all theyare over there. Cry like a bunch of es on their periods. Lakers lost 25 games this year and they were jobbed 25 times. Oh it was the refs. It's always the refs with them.

If you shoot 31 three pointers, you don't deserve to go to the line. Period. And Bryant was awful. Anyone shooting like doesn't need 29 shots.
