Refs can't keep allowing Gasol to defend with his hands so much. Every time Stoudemire faces up on him it's an easy basket for Phoenix unless Gasol fouls.

Gasol has trouble guarding the smaller quicker PFs. That's why Odom is so important to this team. Gasol is really a center on most teams. How many 7'0 250 lbs PFs have we ever seen?
Kobe played a strong game, but no one else really helped him.
Save for Pau and Kobe, the rest of the team sucked in this game. Nothing to see here, they deserved to lose.

you know what happened ... according to most Laker fans, the refs cost the Lakers the game. That's three playoff games they cost us.
but on the real. Amar'e was busy and active and going to the rack. All the fouls on Bynum in the first half were legit.
Lakers were cruising then the Suns switched to a zone and the Lakers panicked especially in the second quarter.
Adjusted in the third and the game was close then in the fourth, thought they were from Cape Canaveral and started launching threes

gotta give Phoenix credit, they adjusted in the second and won the game. Most of Amar'e free throw attempts were legit. Dude was aggressive and the Lakers settled for jumpers. You don't get fouled shooting free throws
