Are they both free agents?
I'd still like the Spurs to focus on either Dominic McGuire or James Singleton. Would give the Spurs another wing defender and can still play the PF spot. Both players get a good amount of steals and blocks.
Are they both free agents?
Yes, and both are UFA.
Minnesota to amnesty Darko.

Just heard the Wolves are going to amnesty Darko to mate. I'd love to pick him up. He is massive. He'd be the biggest guy on our roster by far. In 2011 he averaged 9 points 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. He's 7 foot 275lbs. Could be a very good rebounding and defensive presence. He is only 27 years old and has never been mentoured by someone like Mr Duncan. His game could pick up learning from Timmy. He'd be a solid option. Gimme gimme gimme.
It's "Hoopsworld" so take it for what its worth.
In pertinent part:
"Sixers Interested in DeJuan Blair: DeJuan Blair is on the outside of the Spurs plans looking in, and word is the Philadelphia 76ers would love to have him as a possible replacement for Elton Brand.
Blair is owed roughly $1 million for next season and has grown frustrated with the Spurs. For the last two years Blair played a role in the regular season, only to find himself anchored to the bench in the playoffs.
The Spurs explored trading Blair in and around the draft but could not consummate a deal. Blair has told those around him he expected to be moved and with teams like Philly having real interest, a deal seems probable."

Asked if #Sixers have no interest in DeJuan Blair. "You are correct," replied team president Rod Thorn.

Blair has no value.

For those asking, Wolves options now when Blazers match: Courtney Lee, O.J. Mayo, Iguodala

Kinda funny if Minny winds up with Love and Mayo.
Unrestricted. Memphis didn't extend the Qualifying Offer because they would have gone over the tax if he accepted it.
Surprised I haven't heard his name more.
Mayo's agent is not answering calls till the Hornets match Gordon. Then he's Phoenix bound.

RT @alanhahn: Meanwhile Knicks have confirmed they did not match Raptors' offer sheet to Landry Fields
I'm glad Danny Green didn't get the Jeremy Lin syndrome. Lin could show more gra ude to the team that gave him his chance but it seem he just cares about the money. He'll get more endorsement deals playing in NY and the team's style of play fits him more.
While I somewhat agree with your take on Lin, I have to say that I see how he could feel disrespected by the Knicks as well. He feels that he played well enough to earn the starting position - yet his team was out chasing Nash, Kidd, etc. instead of trying to sign him to a long term deal first. At least it appears that the Spurs focused on Green first and showed that they highly valued his role on the team - and I'm also glad that Green accepted a reasonable (comparatively speaking) contract.
I don't get Anger at Lin. He's worth so much financially to the Knicks, and with how he played, he's probably close to that value, especially in New York. He should get paid a portion of what he's worth, as he can only get a small portion.
When we're we supposed to know if the Bulls will match Asik? I thought it was today.
He hasn't signed the offer sheet yet. Houston waiting for the Lin decision.
And with the Knicks Lindecision, it could come down to the final day.

This decision not to match Linn is odd. Part on me thinks they want to humble the guy a bit and remind him who is running the show, while at the same time tempering expectations in the fan base. Sure the Knicks traded for Felton, but its not like he or an aging Kidd are far superior options. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark...
