Sweet.... Spurs lost and got a pair of balls in exchange.

Back where I belong. SA here I come. #hungry #readytoball
I know GSW didn't want Jack but damn what are they thinking?
Wait, I just remembered that the Warriors need to tank because they owe a top 7 protected lottery pick. So if they don't tank below that level, they'll lose their lottery pick.
With that in mind, Richard Jefferson is a great way to tank. He'll be sure to make that team suck enough so that the Warriors keep that lottery pick.
Jack for a late first rounder and a lottery pick? Great trade by Golden State.
The fact that the pick is lottery protected is just icing on the cake. Even if Sjax amounts to nothing...this is going to be a huge hit with Spurs fans...if anything just for the memories.
Greatest. Tweet. Ever.
True but he just got there and has to fit it. Spurs should be able handle the Lakers anyway.
killer instinct guy might help this year.
His at ude will not last longer then this season IMO

To all my fans thanks for the love. To my spurs fans lets go. I'm ready and hungry. Grrrrrrr
Storybook.
They dealt Fisher for Jordan Hill a little while ago. I think that might have been what Jag was getting at. Not saying that move magically solves their issues, but it does make them bigger.
ETA: ing computer, how the did it take this long to post that?
Damn reading that Jax tweet gave me goosebumps. A motivated player playing where he wants to be at can do wonders.
I think that is a fairly reasonable expectation/impression
I also think his contract becomes valuable next year as an expiring contract.
RJ could have been amnestied next year- but other than cap room that the Spurs probably can't entice anyone to be able to utilize.
oh man if sjax can revive his winning ways, this will be an amazing deal. if not, the spurs just swapped an invisible SF to a SF that shoots really low percentages.
I'll have to side with Bruno on this one, i don't like the trade all that much. I think it won't do much for Spurs this season and not any good for the future.
Not a bad move for either team IMO.
Precisely what I'm worried about.
I'm fine with the trade, but people should be expecting the 2011-2012 Bucks version of SJ and not the 2002-2003 Spurs version.
So what do we look like now?
Starters: Tim, Tony, SJax, Kawhi, Blair
Bench: Manu, Neal, Tiago, Bonner, Green
That's two starting NBA teams right there.
I'm praying for a Kaman buyout. This trade basketball wise helps some but it's really (at least as it appears now) not a huge jump forward (just financially for the Spurs). I hope this wasn't the all time best money grab Jedi mind trick by the FO.
"well get a fan favorite back, make the appearance we tried to shake it up all the while not really addressing the needs and saving money hahaha!"
What?
It might do this year and screw the next one
I mean just screw the next year![]()
I think Spurs will get Diaw if not Kaman
