Fun game
You ever think of breaking your thoughts up into one statement at a time on these game threads? No one reads that long winded on a scrolling thread.
Don't read it then. Better yet, don't reply to it ing about the post being a few sentences more than your brain is comfortable reading. Better yet, if you don't like reading so much, maybe you should stop visiting forums since most of what's done on them is reading.
Splitter's good, but he's wildly inconsistent. One night, it might 10 points 7 rebounds, then the next he'll have 5 and 3.
Patty looked very inconsistent as well. When his shoot isn't falling, he doesn't do much else. I guess it's the same with Neal, so Pop could play whoever is 'feeling' it.
De Colo's a great passer! Unfortunately, he's also extremely slow and lacks the foot speed to defend quicker guards. His shooting is also rubbish.
Manu's back, folks! 20 points on 70% shooting? That's the Manu who'll bring us back to the Western conference finals!
I read the whole thing. Thread is only 12 pages not that hard to keep up with tbh.
Every player with 5 points or more.
Prime example: You make three different suggestions. Can't you just make one? Do you have to write an essay every time you post?
Three sentences isn't an essay. Prime example of what I mean by perhaps you shouldn't go to a forum if you hate reading that much.
As long as they aren't written in 'net speak', a few sentences is fine in my opinion.
For real. We're on a forum, not twitter.
Splitter just start to play after someone s in his head. Again. He just plays hard when pissed.
I only saw the 2nd half, and I'm pretty sure Splitter had 2 blocks that weren't counted (I was watching the game low quality-style, but Bill Land backed me up on the block that led to the Faried dunk). Did anyone else notice that? And how long did Tiago's FT streak end up being? Just counting the last 2 games it was 6, which would be the equivalent of 25 in a row for last year's Manu.
Also, thank God that Manu's stroke seems to be back... everywhere but the charity stripe at least. Maybe his back really isn't bothering him anymore, and/or the rust is gone. Either way I'm glad to see Manu in vintage form.
Seconding someone I can't remember, I couldn't believe Nando kept his dribble bringing the ball up the court against pressure either. If he can produce in 10-15 min a game (5 pts 50% 3FG 3 ast 1 board/steal and no TOs in 17 min tonight) for the next 2 weeks while Kawhi is out that would be fantastic.
In my opinion, Nando's a great dribbler and a great passer. What keeps him out of the rotation is probably the fact that he's too slow to defend quicker NBA guards. His three point shooting isn't too pretty to watch either.
If his spot weren't currently being held by the defensive juggernauts known as Neal and Mills, I'd be inclined to agree.
Mills and Neal aren't great defenders. In fact, they're below average. At least they're able to stay in front of their man though, something that De Colo can't do.
That's a good point. How he matched up defensively was a question mark, since he's never shown to have quick feet on defense. I'd like to see him dumped into the pool to see if he can figure out how to float, though. I really don't know how much he's going to hurt them on defense, but I'm pretty sure he has a chance to really improve the quality of shots on the other end.
he is young mate, he will learn.
Yeah, figures.
Already learning. Only 1 TO and that was a 3 sec/v. Lookin after the rock well last couple of games. Thats detracting from his overall vision but as a backup just happy the rock is safe. Just needs to work on shot selection.
Funny stuff...![]()
What are tomorrow's lottery numbers?
Funny how Manu said that he does not know what "Swag" means ...
