    Don't get out much do ya slick? Maybe there are some stats on this, see what I can find. In my life time I'ver noticed it, can't believe you haven't.

    This book has two messages. First, religion reduces crime. Second, look what happens to scholars who say this is true.
    The first argument rests on the work of Byron R. Johnson, a professor at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, who compiled a survey of every study between 1944 and 2010 that measured the possible effect of religion on crime. He found 273 such studies. As he reports in "More God, Less Crime," even though their authors used different methods and assessed different groups of people, 90% of these studies found that more religiosity resulted in less crime. Only 2% found that religion produced more crime. (The remaining 8% found no relationship either way.)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Obviously since there are more believers than non believers we have to go with %'s.
    That provides no information on non-believers. It only compares degrees of religiosity.
    Show me information that shows that believers (i.e., Christians, Muslims, etc.) are less likely to commit crimes. You made the stupid statement on no basis, now go back and find evidence that supports your assumption.
    And I know that Avante will pull out the No True Scotsman fallacy very soon. He'll claim that all those Christians who commit crimes aren't true Christians, so he can cover his ass and qualify so much that he can't be proven wrong.
    Doctor Herbert Benson at Harvard University conducted a large-scale scientific study of intercessory prayer at six different American hospitals. The study showed--contrary to Benson's personal hopes--that intercessory prayer not only had no positive effect on cardiac patients but that patients who were told that someone would be praying for them actually experienced negative effects.
    Who the you talking to little fella? You don't tell me a damn thing punk. Use your ing head dummy, don't religious people play by some rules as compared to non religious, well?
    Did ya see the football game tonight? Dude gets hurt, so what do we see, his teammates (big bad dudes) on a knee heads bowed in prayer. Nobody playing this stupid..."can we see Him , huh huh huh?"
    How about this moron....in my life I've noticed those into religion are far better adjusted to life and not as apt to get involved with crime.
    Now add....(crime at the bottom)
    The majority of people play by the rules, which are called laws. Those who don't might end up in prison, which is a much better deterrent than .
    If what you claim is true and obvious, then post the statistics that support your claim. Show me the stats that indicate that theists are less likely to commit crimes than atheists and agnostics. Stop with the bull and post evidence.
    Did ya see the football game tonight? Dude gets hurt, so what do e see, his teammates on a knee heads bowed in prayer. Nobody playing this stupid..."can we see Him , huh huh huh?"
    Completely and utterly irrelevant to the discussion. I would expect nothing less from you, because you love non-sequiturs.
    And here comes the No True Scotsman fallacy combined with yet another attempt to pass off anecdotes as real evidence. It also has nothing to do with your claim that believers are less likely to commit crimes than non-believers (i.e., atheists and agnostics).
    Another instance of Avante being a dishonest who couldn't form a solid argument if his life depended on it. Of course, he'll post more non-sequiturs and anecdotes instead of actually providing evidence of his claims.
    Still waiting for Avante to provide proof that theists are less likely to commit crimes than atheists and agnostics. It will probably never happen, because he is too stupid to understand the distinction between not being religious and not believing at all.
    Why not read the link?
    Do you think at all? Those who spent Sunday in church are more likely to go out and commit crimes vs those who have no reason to abide by any morale set of laws? Ever heard of common sense? Dude, you ever leave the house?
    That link discusses degrees of religiosity and doesn't mention non-believers at all. Since you are way too stupid and dishonest to understand my point, let's just drop this subject.
    Instead, I'll ask you a question:
    Which is better? Choosing not to commit heinous acts because one's own personal belief that committing crimes is wrong, or choosing not to commit heinous acts because someone else says that committing crimes is wrong?
    Didn't read it did ya dumbass? There are tons of similiar articles out there saying that exact same thing, I'll do the work for ya. It's pretty much....
    Those who believe in a God are less likely to commit crimes when compared to those without a God in their life.
    Are you telling me you didn't see that in that......oh yeah, you never read it. So why ask me to bring proof of things if you aren't going to read them? Want more?
    What gets me is how you could not know this? It's actually common knowledge. Not too many Bible thumping crooks out there. You honestly are so ing stupid you don't get that?
    I didn't see a single mention of NON-BELIEVERS in that link. Not a mention of atheists or agnostics. Again, since you are too stupid and dishonest to understand my request-even though I made my request quite clear several times--I would to drop the subject.
    Now, please, answer my question from the previous post. Thanks in advance.
    I showed part of the abstract of an actual journal article where they found belief and prayer was negative and you didn't acknowledge it. Typical, instead you present some stupid google search website. Well done. The facts? Well I presented some.. but they don't work on you.. you can't see two sides of an argument, only yours.
    Are you for real? That piece made it very clear that without a God in your life.......right? So why play stupid ass games? Dude, you asked for proof, I brought it and can bring some more. Until you fess up and admit you read exactly what I was saying I'm not answering . Where's the common sense, think about it dummy.
    I won't fess up to anything. I asked for proof that believers are less likely to commit crimes than non-believers, and you did not give me any. You are too stupid to understand my request, and you are a giant ing hypocrite for ing about somebody else not admitting something, even though you rarely, if ever, admit to being wrong on here, even though you are wrong almost all the time.
    Easy. You were wrong about there being a bet between us, and you have never admitted that you were wrong. The closest you ever came to it was when you lied and claimed that you were trolling to save face (as you often do), then went back to still claiming that I lost a bet that never happened and that I should be gone.
