Please. He was fine with being a Spur. It was being alienated by the headcase head coach, scrubby teammates, and having to sit out because the team mishandled his injury and brought him back too early that sealed the deal.
please tell me your going to join Kawhi ass wiping team so we don’t have to read your ty takes anymore. Oh and take your brother Daboom with ya

He wasn't injured, Leonard has a long future ahead of him too. Tatum's still my #1 option since we know he's not a bust but Doncic is probably the best the Spurs can hope for if Tatum doesn't happen.
If dude thinks he's hurt because of some slight pain, then no, he doens't have a long future ahead of him. I don't think he was faking this year, I just think he's a ing weak .

What if this is part of LeBron’s plan to build a super team? Will it end pop’s love affair with LBJ?

I fully expected him to be traded after this last season. Not really a shock, I'm actually kinda excited to see what pieces we get back. Let teams get into bidding wars.

Well Wright and Woj have said 'he hasn't "actually" asked for a trade.' Also he hasn't "actually" spoken with Pop. The Spurs are not going to rush into anything. He's under contract. He'll either be offered an extension or not. Why in the world would the Spurs trade him to the Lakers?

Kawhi did his thing for San Antonio, with the way his injuries are piling up, his shelf life could end up being shortened with another team. Who knows but I'm sure he'll get that max somewhere else. We should have kept that kid that ended up going to Orlando, what the was the ol' sport's name?

you are bing silly agree on distractions but stilla good prospect with upside.
And is very markatable and has hype and tbh a real stern coach like Pop is probably what he needs.
But Spurs seem tao void/hype so I Agree not best fit ... but why would they want Lonzo when they have Murray who has shown some promise?

Ingram/Kuz/and two 1st rounders is a great starting point.
Lonzo's style of play will never amount to greatness in today's NBA, players like Jason Kidd can't dominate with defense/passing like they could before, and that's Lonzo's absolute peak(if everything goes right)..he could be a starter on a le team, a #3 guy, but I can't imagine a player with his scoring deficiencies being a cornerstone..

Ingram is good, but he's only had like 2 good months of basketball in his first 2 NBA seasons..he's only 20, so he can still become a star, but most A-level prospects at least demonstrate superstar flashes in 2 seasons of basketball..

I don't know man, Uncle Dennis' medical team took over in August according to Woj and Leonard seemed fine to go to China at the time. It just screams holdout when the Spurs doctors kept saying he was fine. As funny as it would be to see his career destroyed by injury next year he'll probably be fine and ESPN will hail him a hero with a triumphant return from a season ending injury. At least the NBA doesn't give a Comeback Player of the Year Award, would have made me puke seeing him win that after a hold out.

We should just sign Zaza and play him exclusively against whatever team Kawhi ends up in.

    This.

And willing to sink the franchise that made him. Sad.

because the time (pre draft) is now if there is any thought he actually wants this. We can get good draft picks now with known quan ies/players the FO might target. If we wait until mid year during his final year the offers will just get even worse, since the FO will be backed into the corner of letting him walk for nothing the upcoming summer.

I fully expect Pop and his personal secretary RC Buford to get completely ripped off in any deal involving Kawhi. Patfo will just send him to the team of his choice and will take whatever that team is willing to offer to make Kawhi happy. The Spurs will need to trade LMA or the Spurs will continue down the road of mediocrity for years before they're bad enough to enter the draft lottery and start a rebuild.

Definitely, but at least he isn't a white American..Euro players can still be great in today's NBA in the right environment..
Yeah, maybe like a porzingis/Dirk as best case scenario. Though it's the odds aren't on our side that he can be that level.

Kings would be dumb to trade the rights for Doncic...

Dude is by far the best nba ready prospect and the best European prospect at age of 18 of all time...

He’d be perfect for Spurs tbh

Why do you say that? What trade deals the Spurs have made have backfired that much? If he wants out they are going to trade him to the team who they get the most back for.
