They said they were 20 miles from the warehouse at that family's house. That's far enough away for a small nuke like that.
i'm sure you could see the mushroom cloud for miles and miles.

right, the show can't be 100% accurate. if it was the president would be underground or in the air.
Who says he won't be next week?
he would've already been there. but sure they can move him next week.
I don't think it's the same guy... i could be wrong though
The president is in LA?
no, but when crazy happens the president is moved.
Dude, the moment there was a threat of a nuke the President would have been on Marine One headed for AF One. But its 24.
That's a good one, dude. Jack gets radiation poisoning.
Jack has a three-year contract, so maybe he gets disfigured and vomits a bunch, but he won't die.
Jack is immortal. How do 24 fans not understand this?
If they're being at all realistic on 24, will they show ordinary Americans frothing at the mouth, dragging their Muslim neighbors out of their homes, and beating them to death?
Just ended here, and can I just say...
NOOOOOOOO CURTIS NOOOOO!!!!![]()
Um, that's kind of what went down in episode 2, but the hothead bubba got capped by Kumar.
Um, yeah, they showed that already.
I dunno, mookie, maybe the FBI needs to take a look at you. I'm not sure I can trust your loyalties. You might be secret al-Qaeda like Barack Hussein Obama.
Did anyone else think it was funny when Ahmed said "you don't even know my name. It's not Ah-Med, It's Achhh-Med"
I have a question -- 2:00 left in the fourth quarter, Tom Brady is driving for the winning score. Jack Bauer is the only player on defense.
What happens?
If would have been even funnier if little droplets of spit had landed on the white kid.
Jack rips his hands off with his mouth and runs it in with the ball, and Tom Brady's bloody hand still attached to it, to the endzone and wins.
so the President was having suuuch a hard time giving Assad a pardon (haven't they given pardons before to other terrorists?) yet he didn't seem to hesitate as much with letting what, 10+ prisoners free? lol
funny...
I don't like Wayne as a President yet. and what is up with his sister? she's being annoying
the ending was shocking and I was actually pretty pissed at first. i mean Jack killed CURTIS, a good guy (and damn good agent) and saved a former terrorist? It just seemed SO WRONG![]()
![]()
oh and also... those damn terrorists, they are such pansies.
The MOMENT things start to look bad for them, they go to their nearest bomb and hit the trigger. wussies
You think that's bad, wait until Assad turns his back on Jack and the president. Then Curtis died for nothing.
My thoughts on the first four hours:
1. Nukes? Again?!?! And these dopes managed to get their hands on five? Come on.
2. After 5 years of never being wrong people still bother to ask Jack questions.
3. The president gets screwed on the first deal he cut with Fayed, so he makes another. Grrrrrr. Not liking President Palmer 2.0.
4. Jack cries every day, we all know that, but he did it earlier than ever this year. Used to be it'd be at the towards the end of the season. Then he cried when Tony died last year around hour 15, and now it's at the end of hour 4. Possible shark jumping warning there.
5. I honestly was surprised that they killed Curtis. I figured Jack would have to shoot him in the leg or something.
6. I give it 6 weeks tops before Kim or Audrey shows up and I really hope they get shot too.
