why do you hate it? because i'm posting in French? come on Jman.
I took 3 years of French and I mostly copied from the teacher's manual when she wasn't looking. I know bits and pieces.
That would be awesome. I should do that and throw in Romanian as well since it's part of the Romance languages.
In the following sample sentence (meaning "She always closes the window before having dinner.") cognates are written in bold:
Ea închide întodeauna fereastra înainte de a cina. (Romanian)
Ella (or lei) chiude sempre la finestra prima di cenare. (Italian)
Elle ferme toujours la fenêtre avant de dîner. (French)
Ella siempre cierra la ventana antes de cenar. (Spanish)
Ela fecha sempre a janela antes de cear. (Portuguese)
if i ever get french down. i would love to learn Italian.
Mostly trying to figure out why I made the 13 (now 14) page commitment.
Same here pretty much. I used to know a bit, but I need to brush up on it.
my cousin Eddie is in the Army. and since he went to Germany he was teaching me some german. i think i still remember some of it.
I'd kick ass at French, Spanish and Italian if it weren't for ing irregular verbs.
Well I've been out of high school for six years already. When I say bits and pieces, I mean not a lot![]()
German scares me plus it's too brutal. There's nothing beautiful about that language.
I could listen to people talking the Romance languages all day long. It's just so poetic sounding.
i think you know more than i do and i'm gonna take french 4 this year
I just hate nazi's, Dirk Nowitski, and David Hasselhoff.
nevermind the language, well yea, german the language does suck...
i know that is why i didn't want to learn it. my cousin had to because that was the only way he was gonna make it over there(germany).
Jason come back. we need to give you more spanish lessons.
that sucks for him. and Angel just a heads up leave now. trust me.
