HOLY . That WAS the right tackle!! I thought you were crazy for saying that. From the angle I saw on Sportscenter (and recorded and just looked at) the tackle freaking released! I never dreamed a non eligible player would do that with a DE in his face. And because of that I thought the line was overloaded. The Cards' O line blocked so well I wouldn't have thought they'd make a mistake like that. Wow. Okay. Twice in one day for me. My bad. Leinart's off the hook. Fire the offensive coordinator!

Absolutely. I still can't believe he would have just taken off into empty space like that. Maybe he didn't hear the audible and tried to run the original play. He couldn't have expected the back to pick it up because he was on the other side, especially since there was NOBODY ELSE THERE for him to block. Damn.

I still think it'd be a bad idea for Leinart to throw anyone under the bus, but he might pull that lineman aside and ask him not to do that again.

i am really glad you posted those images, cause i was trying to explain to a friend what happened. it was kind of the same argument you and Obstructed_View were having.
