This team is just old. We just can't expect them th shoot the ball well on the second night of a back to back, they just don't have the legs for it. They rebounded well because Charlotte doesn't have much size and Okafor was trying to block everything, but they didn't have the juice to finish their shots.

I think Pop should have played his bench guys a bit in overtime. You could tell the starters were flat out exhausted.
Exactly. Barry should definitely be getting minutes. And now that our B2B record has been so bad over the past 2 years and continuing this year, what do we have to lose by limiting our old folks to 30 min and giving Bonner, Butler, Williams, etc. 10 minutes or so?

The only positives of the night was that both Finley and Horry had solid games again.

I thought Bowen did a decent job on Morrison in the second half. He's was frustrating him pretty good.

At least the free-throw shooting was good.

Seriously? This is what you're coming at me with? This is some of the weakest I've ever seen you try to pull, and you've pulled some weak .

Ah well, life must be hard as a raging vagina. Carry on with the useless dribble of information you sprew that you call "posting".

    Spurs fans never change. Never.
if we'd change, then we wouldn't be fans. fans isn't short for "fairweather". "fairweather" thrive in dallas though. you might want to rethink your stance.

Not true, what about the rebounding? It was fantastic tonight, although most were open looks and self-grabbing boards, the reason they lost to Dallas was due to that.

Duncan was clutch when it mattered but turnovers and bricked three's are what lost it. Even when they play TERRIBLE defense they still almost pull off a win.

Nobody in here needs to freak out, this will mean nothing when they get on another win streak.

If we can afford to lose a few games here and there - and we can - then why can't we get Butler into the game? Do we really think Bonner is going to do thing one on this team? Why not get White a few minutes here and there?

The rebounding wasn't fantastic. A lot of the O board were because Spurs players were missing layup and after layup and getting their own misses.

Because they were down by 3 and he was wide open?
you make a layup then force the bobcats to make both free throws and get the ball back and then take the three then

There's nothing wrong with venting right after a loss. It's in the heat of the moment, and it's good for the psyche.

Just because someone says something negative right after a tough loss doesn't mean they're jumping ship.

He shot a 3 because the play was designed to get a 3. He made a good cross court pass to Tony, Tony got it back to him, and he just happened to miss. Get rid of the Manu hate. He did what the Spurs wanted him to do, it just didn't go down.

It's not even that the Spurs played all that bad, but they just missed a lot of open 3's. I mean hitting 3 more of those and this game isn't an issue.

Spurs deserved to lose if they play this way. They didn't try until like two minutes to go in the game. If they would have pulled this win out, it would have meant more losses down the road because they'd go into coast mode in the first quarter.

Pretty much the whole team played horrible. Duncan was passive, Bowen got lit up by a rookie and Parker was playing bad both sides of the court. Only positive to take out of it was Finley's play.

Bowen attempting to box out Okafor was a fitting end to the night. Dumb move to have the team's worst rebounder trying to box out one of the best rebounders in the league. I'm glad he got the rebound and dunked it on the Spurs face. Maybe next time Pop will put two bigmen on the court in a situation where they will be calling a timeout after a make or a miss.

The Spurs got outplayed, outcoached and outefforted.

And I'm glad they lost it. Should be a good wakeup call and a game Pop can point to when he wants to motivate the team when they have an easy game on the schedule.

All those short shots were due to fatigue. We're old. It IS our fault. It's a team weakness. We got to get our bench some minutes and B2B's are the perfect time to do it since we almost always lose anyway.

They should be motivated to play every game. They aren't anywhere near elite on offense, and they should be. Their defense hasn't even been up to par. I would much rather have the win than a loss. If they can't be motivated every game then they won't win a le. I don't beleive in statement losses. The Spurs should be playing much better offense then they have so far this season. No reason to be this sluggish, back to back or not.

That back 2 back is just that. It's in their heads. They go way too deep in the rotation to be that ing fatiqued the next night, and we continue to enable them with the excuse.
