From my window I have a very good view of the pool.... the maintance guy was walking buy and he stopped. Stared at eh pool for a few mins. ..

then he put his foot in it.

I guess there is a slight icy film on there and he wanted to see how har it was. idiot.
of course it was like less-than-paper thin and his work boot is soaked. I;'m watchign him cussand jump around like a re right now. man this brightened my day.

It took me one hour and 15 minutes to get to work today. I knew it would be bad, but not that bad. I drove on the access roads for like 15 minutes. I wonder how its going to be on my home. It should be fun.

Up here in Austin, it's 29 degress, according to the thermometer on the porch and it's still about 90% sleet and 10% those nice big wet fluffy snow flakes

He's only seen snow once, ever. That's when we went to Denver for AllStar 2005 (?). It will do him some good to be buried in the snow. After that maybe he won't keep our airconditioning on 63 all the time.

I locked myself out of my house early yesterday morning with no shoes and just a thin t-shirt on. I had to run around through the freezing swamp that was my back yard to the front and ring the doorbell like crazy ... Chris was in the shower and my kids were still asleep upstairs. My feel are still numb.

Speaking of icicles, Caitlin just pulled one off of a neighbor's car that was about 8 inches long and about an inch in diameter. She put it in the freezer.
