Duncan needs a good 20 rebound game to bump up his REB stat above 9.8.

    Nice win by the Spurs!

The Spurs are pretty hard to beat when 2 ot the Big 3 are on (Manu/Tim tonight) and are unbeatable when the 3 have a good game.

The game was out of reach. Bavetta could have look the other way. I doubt the Spurs would have complained.

Sonics kept making runs but fell short every time.

Our team looks as good as they ever have at this part of the season.

    I know.

It just never fails to amaze me how a stat line that is considered great for any player in the league can be subpar for Duncan.

I'm not trying to dismiss Bonner's game.
It's just that no one ever cuts Duncan any slack when he has an off night for him.

We expect so much from Duncan, and rightly so.
But I also think he deserves a break when he has an off night.
And we are playing agaist the sonics (2-12)

Duncan needs a good 20 rebound game to bump up his REB stat above 9.8.
Sonics had no one going after rebounds on the offensive side so Duncan usually just made sure to seal off either Wilcox or Collison and let the other spurs take the easy defensive rebounds. It was one of those nights when Sonics weren't missing too many and weren't crashing so TD didn't need to be aggressive on rebounding because rebounding was a non-issue on the defensive side for Spurs.

Nice offensive game by the spurs tonight. Defensively....could have done a better job on Durant and SCZERBIAK!!! what the ?

maybe Pop just wants PJ's kids to get some experience without crushing their spirits. nice gesture, i think.

Nice victory for the Spurs. Sonics played well tonight but wilted at the end. PJ has a lot of talent to work with.

Spurs had lots of contributions from many tonight. Bonner, Barry, Manu, TP, TD, Oberto... great effort all around.

Damn and we got 12 offensive boards, too! Hope this trend continues. Rebounding is a concern that will need to improve as the season goes on.

Spurs win and thats all that counts!
