Dallas is going to be a tough road game.
Mavs are coming out of 2 tough losses against the Lakers and Celts, have had to listen to the chatter that they have yet to beat a team above .500 team since the Kidd trade, add to it the Mavs always seem to play really well against the Spurs, I think the Game Sunday against the Mavs is going to be the real test to see where the Spurs are and if they've learned anything from their 4 game slide.

For some reason I feel this team has turned around in the better direction ever since that win over the Bulls.
Great game, especially JV
"I made sure I stepped on the line. I saw the vBookie and I didn't want to put us up 14."
pop has found the rotation
Or it could be that both of these teams suck
that's also true but pop has definitly found the rotation
pop = G
Its not just about Pop. Its about how Tim, Tony, Manu, and our bench is playing. Maybe the day of practice paid dividends.
Pop said Robert Horry will get an MRI tomorrow. Some type of kneecap problem.
Man, I hope it's not serious.
Oh Man Its Going To Be So Nice To Finally Win The le As A Suns Fan Shaq Owns Duncan 1 On 1 That Will Nash Barbosa Girieck Bell Open For 3's All Day And We Will Hot 80 Percent Of Them Also Amare Will Be Able To Work It On The Inside For A 40 Pt Game Avg When We You Play You Man Its Going To Be Sweet To Finally Get That Championship Ring Sorry Spurs Fan But Your To Old To Lazy To Win It This Year We Have Shaq
Hey we got a special TROLL tonight, posts this trash in his own thread and in the game thread. Congrats you earned a trolling brownie point.![]()
Hope Horry is ok.
Good game tonight. The big 3 did there thing. Bowen smothered Martin. I thought Finley and Udoka did about as well as you can against Artest. Good to see Finley make some shots though he missed all 3 of his attempts in the 2nd half. Nice efforts from Thomas and Oberto. Udoka moved really well so I assume the ankle isn't bothering him any. I was really happy with JV's game. He was hitting the jumper, attacking and kicking out.
I hope he'll be OK

Barry eligible Sunday: Shooting guard Brent Barry, eligible to sign a new contract with the Spurs on Sunday, has made it clear he wants to re-join the club as soon as he can.
But even if the Spurs re-sign him Sunday morning, it isn't likely he would be in uniform for that afternoon's game.
Neither general manager R.C. Buford nor Popovich would comment about Barry before Friday's game.
The veteran guard is expected to sign a new deal with the Spurs before the team heads to Orlando for a game Tuesday against the Magic.
The Spurs traded Barry, Francisco Elson and a future first-round draft pick to Seattle for Kurt Thomas.
The Sonics subsequently waived Barry.
NBA rules prohibit a released player from re-signing with a team that traded him for 30 days after the completion of a deal.
The Spurs haven't been allowed to examine Barry's injured left calf in the interim, and Barry hasn't been allowed to use the team's training and medical facilities.
I will post my thoughts here since I did not see a timvp thread.
I had not seen the Spurs play in person in 3 months, and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the team I watched play tonight does not stand a snowball's chance in of winning an NBA le this year. Sorry. They fight with each other- they yell at each other alot- they get rattled by the opponent- they can not rebound to save their lives- Manu tries to do too much and is out of control- Tim needs to demand the damn ball- Udoka is overrated- Kurt Thomas does not play enough- and worst of all, Tony's defense is atrocious.
Nice win tonight, Spurs fans. You gotta give Kings credit, we're still fighting!
Without having read any of this thread (and judging from the post above me), maybe you weren't too happy with the win since Kings gave you trouble for most of 2-1/2 quarters. I'm happy to say we're still fighting!
All of the teams on top must be damn tired and just a little concerned about flopping around the seedings with 45+ wins.
Spurs will rise to the occassion. Just please beat the frigging Lakers.![]()
^^^ I said Kings are "still fighting" twice.![]()
Wow. Is there any good thing about Spurs?![]()
stupid ass spurs get no fouls called against them. idiot punks should have lost im tired of their cheatin ways
