We beat the Warriors at small ball, that in and of itself is a ing huge accomplishment and is telling of how deep the Lakers really are this year. If you consider how many key players are out right now, it's astounding how many tough wins the Lakers have pulled out.

I presume than you don't live in LA?
San Diego don't get channel 9

And 570 comes in like during games. You gotta position the radio just right. But of course it comes in perfect for the Loose Cannons and Money and Petros.

Know we're I can buy a power antenna? Heard that James ain't shooting his waste basket shots anymore though.

The announcers were certainly better than the Boston announcers in the first game. They were Warriors announcers. What do you expect? They were correct in saying that it was a shame how a great game like that should end with a mistaken call...one where one of the better officials was clearly unable to see what really transpired on the play. Joel "Partner" Meyers made many a homer broadcast calls when he was with the Spurs...no doubt he would have responded similarly had Ellis pulled D-Fish down onto him in an OT game with less than 5 secs. remaining.

Meyers is actually not that big of a homer. I think that has to do with Stu's influence. Stu learned everything from Chick and Chick was the most non-homer announcer ever.

even though Meyers annoys me sometimes with his announcing he does have a great voice for announcing..I mean every time Kobe makes a jumper he sounds like he is going explode!
Yeah Meyers does have a great voice for calling a game. But he has a face made for radio.

Fisher cheated, he pulled Ellis down.....typical BS by Fisher, always flopping around.....

The Refs blew it, Fisher should be suspended by the league for a game to stop him from pulling this kind of garbage.

Fisher does this all the time, the flopping has gotten out of control, but in this instance someone could get hurt.

It was a flagarent foul....and he should be suspended.

He would have said it was a bad call from the refs and a veteran savvy move by Fisher.

No, I am not high...the guy pulled him to the ground, how is that different than what Dirk did to AK47?

The point is that flops should all be flagarent 1's clean up this flopping problem league wide...

    It sucks.....

Karl Malone used to drive me nutz flopping when a 180 lbs point guard ran into him and sent him about 10 feet backwards.....

It is BS...and the league should look into it and start suspending....

Just like Soccer and the obvious flops getting yellow cards now....the NBA could call it a flagarent foul or simply call it a tech.

Dude, watch the video again...Fish tripped over Harrington's foot sending him backwards while Monta was pushing forward. He used his hand to brace his fall and took Monta with him. Was it a foul yes, on both players. I don't see Fisher doing this on purpose as you rarely see a play like this being called on a inbound play. We were lucky.

fisher started tripping and then grabbed monta and took him down with him, if anything it should have been two freethreows for monta. But even i wouldn't have wanted to see that happen....LET EM PLAY!!!! And yes he did do it on purpose....

Honestly the level of hatred the Warrior fans have for LA is just comical. Reading their messageboards after the game you'd think Derek Fisher raped each and everyone of their mothers.

Actually it should have been a foul call on Bdavis or Harrington for holding Kobe down and creating space for the Monta drive....please look at the video. Oh, and Fisher did trip over Al's foot and monta lost balance and fell into Fish, albeit fisher helped him.
