Trump is lying that he didn't support the war until he FOLLOWED a bunch of other people who figured out the Repugs lied USA into Iraq.
Repugs have NEVER admitted the Iraq war for oil was a LIE.
"I guess so"... LMAO, what a ringing endorsement and on the Howard Stern Show of all places.
Obviously he reconsidered and has consistently opposed the war for some time.... long before republicans ever accepted that it was a bad idea...
It was Hillary Clinton's job to determine whether or not to approve the war and she had access to much more state intelligence and information than Trump, and yet SHE STILL GOT IT WRONG.
Trump is lying that he didn't support the war until he FOLLOWED a bunch of other people who figured out the Repugs lied USA into Iraq.
Repugs have NEVER admitted the Iraq war for oil was a LIE.
Trump said it was a lie.
... that he swallowed, and he's not a Repug, as the Repug establishment will tell you.
Trump's Foreign Policy Adviser Thinks Turkey Is Conspiring With Native Americans to Build Nukes
Joseph Schmitz seems unaware that Turkey is a U.S. ally and member of NATO.
The dam, which was built in the 1930s on tribal land, was renamed the Seli’š Ksanka Qlispe’ dam when the tribally owned Energy Keepers, Inc., paid nearly $18.3 million to NorthWestern Energy to acquire it.
That’s when things got weird.
Schmitz, who’s an “insider” with the right-wing Newsmax website and senior fellow at the virulently anti-Islam Center for Security Policy, and fellow co-counsel Lawrence Kogan filed a lawsuit seeking to block the transfer—which they argued posed a national security threat from Turkey.
The attorneys claimed the dam transfer would allow the Turkish government and terrorists to obtain nuclear materials, although they were unable to provide any factual evidence of their claims.

America Has Never Been So Ripe for Tyranny
For Trump is not just a wacky politician of the far right, or
a riveting television spectacle, or
a Twitter phenom and bizarre working-class hero.
He is not just another candidate to be parsed and analyzed by TV pundits in the same breath as all the others.
In terms of our liberal democracy and cons utional order,
Trump is an extinction-level event.
It’s long past time we started treating him as such.

WHITE POWER MEETS BUSINESS CASUAL
Inside the Effort to “Make White Nationalism Great Again”
NPI is no ordinary Washington think tank. Founded by an heir to a conservative publishing fortune, it drew white nationalists and sympathizers from around the country—and at least one from Canada—to its innocuously named “Iden y Politics” conference a couple of days after Donald Trump dominated the field on Super Tuesday.
It is the rise of the bombastic Republican frontrunner that brought this amalgam of aggrieved crusaders together for an evening of tails, appetizers, and songs of praise to the candidate who’s inspired them to dip a toe into the stream of establishment politics.
When Spencer asked who is under 30, at least 20 people raised their hands—myself included. He seemed delighted. The movement, he said, needs that “youthful” energy.
a slideshow of various right-wing memes welcomed self-described “ lord” and video-blogger, Paul Ramsey. Among this crowd, he is better known by his pseudonym, Ramzpaul.
. “Iden y,” the bedrock of the alt-right agenda, rests upon three pillars: sex realism (“men and women are suited for different roles”), race (inexplicably broken up into “race realism, nationalism, and Jews”), and natural order (a nebulous and quasi-mythical construct that appears to amount to the naïve, tautological, and politically irrelevant idea that society should resist acting against what is deemed “natural”).
Ramzpaul proceeded to identify several cultural scapegoats. The latest Star Wars is bad because it shows that women can be epic warriors and have better command of a fictional psycho-spiritual “force.” The military is bad because it’s putting dainty lil’ ladies right up against tough guy machismo. The media is bad because it dubs all adherents to race-conscious ideologies white “supreeeeeeeeeemists,” without considering the nuances of their high-minded intellectual exercise!
So white, so right
The National Policy Ins ute was founded in 2005 by William Regnery II who, in the words of the Southern Poverty Law Center, is a “prime mover and shaker” within academic white nationalist circles. As an heir to the conservative Regnery Publishing, which brought us Trump’s campaign screed Time to Get Tough in 2011, Regnery has thrown his fortune behind a number of white nationalist causes.
In 2001, he founded the Occidental Quarterly, whose pseudo-scientific agitprop makes it “sort of the Nature of academic racism,” according to Mother Jones. Indeed, NPI’s Iden y Politics conference featured one of the Quarterly’s higher profile contributors—Kevin MacDonald, a disgraced former academic who maintains that Jews are responsible for an influx of non-white immigrants to the United States.
Under Spencer’s guidance, NPI has helped lead the North American crusade for what Spencer calls “iden arianism”—an ideology that has its roots in the French far-right and posits that iden y (in this case, racial) is the crux of any political, religious, or political movement.
Trump the übermensch
After that startling exchange of gifts among the iden y-conscious agitators, Kevin MacDonald took the stage. Applause filled the room as the 72-year-old stepped to the podium. The guy’s some ing hero, I noted. This is a standing ovation.
MacDonald—true to his RateMyProfessor assessment—is dry. Yet he sounded more like a disgruntled uncle reflecting on the good ol’ days of white supremacy than an academic.

De able Trump Ally Roger Stone Called for Bernie Sanders to Be Shot for Treason
This red-baiting dirty trickster, who once loved and now hates the Bushes, is still highly influential in the Trump campaign.
These days, the notorious, nefarious Stone—opposition researcher, all-around dirty trickster, organizer of the “Brooks Brothers riot” of the 2000 Florida recount, rumor-monger of the Mic e Obama “whitey” tape, and general political hitman for the GOP—remains an ally of Donald Trump (even though he quit last year as Trump’s campaign manager).
He is also chief of a Trump SuperPac, the Committee to Restore America's Greatness.
trash talk, with ample portions of pseudo-hick xenophobia and exuberant misogyny.

Seth Meyers Shreds Trump's Pathetic Ground Game and Bogus Claims About a Rigged System
here’s at least one thing that Trump has proven he can’t run, and that’s his own delegate operation. Now, this is complicated, but basically when you win a primary, you get delegates to the GOP convention. But you need people to serve as those delegates. And in addition to that, a few states [like Colorado] don’t even hold primaries. They hold local and statewide conventions where they choose those delegates directly. Getting those delegates requires a strong organization on the ground, and so far Trump has been very, very bad at this.
Trump received 0 of 34 delegates at the Colorado convention—and just 1 of 25 in North Dakota.
Trump should be able to figure this out because not only is he a “great manager” but a “really smart person,” he claims. “I have a very good brain,” he told MSNBC last month.
the state of Washington hasn’t held its primary yet, but the campaigns still need to recruit people to serve as delegates there. Because even if Trump wins the Washington primary, those delegates can vote for whoever they want to on the second ballot at a contested GOP convention.”
According to Mediaite, “The campaign sent out an email soliciting possible delegates on Friday, April 8 to let everyone know that the deadline [to submit their Declaration of Candidacy for Delegate form] was Wednesday, April 6.”
But it gets worse. The Trump campaign actually sent the email to residents of Washington, D.C.—not Washington state.

Trump’s latest conspiracy theory is a doozy, even for Trump
Take this morning, for example, when Trump, repeating a story he saw in a tabloid, alleged that Ted Cruz’s father was seen palling around with Lee Harvey Oswald in 1963. Politico reported this morning:
“His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald’s being – you know, shot. I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous,” Trump said Tuesday during a phone interview with Fox News. “What is this, right prior to his being shot, and nobody even brings it up. They don’t even talk about that. That was reported, and nobody talks about it.”
“I mean, what was he doing – what was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the death? Before the shooting?” Trump continued. “It’s horrible.”
No, really, that’s what he said.
In keeping with his m.o., Trump’s odd broadside against his rival’s father comes on the heels of Rafael Cruz, a prominent surrogate for his son’s campaign, telling conservatives that a Trump presidency could lead to “the destruction of America.”
Evidently, Trump heard this and decided to respond with a JFK assassination conspiracy theory.

eff that. Can't vote for someone who is just as bad as Hillary. Third party or write-in for me.
Basically a vote for Hillary. I'm not pleased either but was always voting against Hillary no matter who the nominee was. Sack up and take one for the team.
Do you live in Texas?
Same, at the very least she is one of the most intelligent candidates ever and has extensive experience. I don't really like her, seems cold and fake but w.e

Repugs are so ed.
And America is ed, too.
Trump should choose either Rubio (camp him out in Miami-Dade and Broward/have him on Univision often) or Kasich for VP. Go hard after FL, OH, VA, NH, NC and pay attention to AZ. Try for IA, MI, and WI (although Never Trump movement poisoned the well here) too.
Rubio?
The bridge that was never there is burned. Rubio still has future aspirations When Trump loses being the presumptive VP would look awful. No way no how.
