There are a ton of Chinese restaurants here, a few Japanese, and a few Vietnamese. But what I really love is Thai food, and it's been years since I've lived anywhere with good Thai places.
He's going as Spock and I'm going as the dark dude with the bumps on his head.

Damn, anything fried is good.
I'd like to try a tempura snickers bar if I could.
Is that a chick?
I agree. The sweet potato is by far my favorite, though. Something about the crispy of the tempura and the smooth, buttery sweet potato.
Mmmmm... me want.
you all are making me hungry. Fortunately I have good Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Cuban and even a Baja Fresh all within a five-minute walk.
snickers are already bad enough, but friend in anything is just nasty
What the is tempura?
Where the do you live?
If timvp went to a Star Trek convention, he'd have to go as that bartender Whoopi Goldberg played.
I had fried rice once. Is that the same thing?
Must be good to live near DC. There is every type of food imaginable there, from what I remember.
Silver Spring, MD
I saw a black hooker in DC when I went.
Friend?
Anyway, in Scotland it's actually pretty popular. I'm willing to try it. They also have deep fried (friend?) pizza over there.
What the , I'd try that too.
That's about all I remember of DC.
Oh yeah, $6 cigs.
It's a batter that things are fried in. It's delicious.
"Baja Fresh"?
Que?
Mmmmmmmm... Cuban black beans and rice would be so ing fantastic right now.
I saw a black hooker on Austin Highway on my way home yesterday.
When Anthony Bourdain was still on Food Network, he went to Scotland and tried all kinds of things fried ... they will fry anything! I think one of his favorites turned out to be a fried boiled egg.![]()
If I want Caribbean or Ethiopian, it's a ten-minute walk.![]()
I miss when Bourdain was on Food Network. For some reason, I never remember to watch his show on the Travel Channel. That channel is just like one long commercial.
Cherelle or Marlene?
