Still an OU lean?? Or have Aggies/LSU closed the gap??
I'd still give the edge to OU but him deciding not to commit after his trip to Dallas shows he's really thinking about it. He skipped his visit to LSU to go to the RRR and I've also heard that TCU is a darkhorse in this race. Should be interesting.
That one will really hurt.
No biggie. It's not like they play defense anyway.
Injury bug strikes again. LB Deoundrei Davis has torn his ACL and is done for the year.
Update on 2014 WR KD Cannon. He was in Dallas for Texas/Oklahoma:
"At the beginning, it was a great game. OU just opened it up. The Texas offense wasn't clicking and OU has a great offense," Cannon said.
"No. Everybody has a bad game sometimes so that doesn't bring Texas down whatsoever," Cannon said.
"I've got a lot more schools talking to me lately," Cannon said. "I'm just trying to keep it open."
"They (Texas) have a balanced offense, they're throwing the ball a whole lot more. They have a great coaching staff, a great wide receivers coach," Cannon said. "I've been talking to him (Darrell Wyatt) a lot, I just haven't talked to him recently. But he tries to teach you every little thing to make you a better player, tries to get it right, tries to get you perfect."
"Defenses are trying to key on me a lot. I'm getting double teamed every game," Cannon said. "At practice, my coach gets our defense to double team me so I'm used to it. I have different ways of cutting my routes off and getting open."
24/7 reporting that 2014 CB Nick Watkins will be in Austin this weekend for the Baylor game.

that gif. You have drama queen saying " ", blondie trying to act upset but is more concerned with picking the blemish of her face and the large black man in the back ground with the unchanging, I'm takin it like a gangsta expression.
some fat dude in the background looks like he wants to throw down with someone
Finally came across a link of Brian Jones ripping Mack on CBS last weekend. Glad to see someone in the media with Texas ties who has a sack:

Quotes from 2014 OL Demetrius Knox after the beatdown from OU (OrangeBloods). He called Stacy Searels after the game:
"Just like any big loss, they have a lot of stuff to work on. But they're still my number one team," Knox said. "After the game, I sent coach (Stacy) Searels a message and then talked to him for a bit. I let him know UT is still my No. 1 school and I back him 100 percent. I have faith that they'll get things turned around."
"(Searels) basically just said they have a lot of stuff to work on," Knox said. "He didn't think his players came into the game with the right at ude and mindset. As always, when something like that happens, he said the coaches feel responsible."
"It's basically like a second home to me. I can sit down, talk with any of the coaches on the coaching staff and feel like they're a father figure to me, or one of my coaches right now," Knox said. "Any time I go to UT or Austin, I just feel like I'm at home."
"I talked to coach Searels and I've talked to some other o-linemen being recruited by UT. We want to come in and build a foundation, build around the quarterbacks. If we can protect them, get a good push in the run game, we can go from there," Knox said.
"It (the 2012 season) hasn't really been too good for me. I've been out most of the season with a lower back injury. It happened at start of the season. Basically, I talked to my doctor about it, he basically told me to stay off it for a while, give it time to rest. But this season has basically been big game after big game and I didn't fee like I could leave my team for big games," Knox said. "So I went in and did my job, then once we get ahead my back would start hurting."
Latest with 2014 S Jamal Adams (OrangeBloods). He was also at the Cotton Bowl last weekend:
"It was a great experience for it to be my first time going to that rivalry. It was a blowout, so it kind of got boring towards the end. It was a good game in the first quarter but then got out of control," Adams said.
"I was in shock, honestly. I didn't think it was going to be a blowout," Adams said. "I thought it was going to be better game."
"I talked to both (Bob and Mike) Stoops. They called the school and I talked to them both on my coach's phone," Adams said. "They said to just make the right decision, keep working hard, just know that Oklahoma is a powerhouse in the Big 12."
"Coach Akina always has great words. He just says to keep working. They told me they talk about me every day in meetings so that was nice," Adams said. "Coach Diaz said he wanted me to suit up right then and there (before the West Virginia game). That was a highlight right there (of the unofficial visit to Texas)."
he honestly couldn't do any worse.
on that note how bad is sheroid evens that he can't crack the safety line up? he can't be any worse of a tackler and his range would be crazy he should be an int machine so it has to be that he is lost on assignments right?
People say that stuff all the time. the fact is that most true freshmen are not physically capable of competing at the highest level.
I think daje, gray, diggs, and both malcom browns have shown that they are.
For those who don't really follow basketball recruiting, the #1 player in the country Julius Randle has Texas in his top 6 along with Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina State, Oklahoma, and Kansas. IIRC, we are supposedly #3 on that list behind UK and UF, but a good season for us could put us ahead.

does the kebongo stuff hurt us at all?
Only if he actually is "guilty". Tristan Thompson says Kabongo's brother repayed him for the trip which would be fine. I guess we're just waiting to see what the NCAA decides, but if they do decide to punish him hopefully it doesn't involve a suspension.

What D-coordinators names are out there to replace Diaz, if he does get the boot?
