The creators of the cartoon do the majority of the instrumentation, but they've had guest voice overs from James and Kirk from Metallicrap, George from Terrible Corpse, Queen Rhinestone, and a few other members of such noteworthy bands.

No, it's not programmed.
It's all actual instruments; it's just not an actual "band".
The creators play all the guitars, bass, drums, vocals, but they aren't a big name recording act.
Does that make anymore sense?
