Legit N95s were hard to come by at some point (and not cheap due to the scarcity). Thankfully that is changing (Brandon did that). There's also still no NIOSH-approved N95 masks for children.
If you don't want to care about immunocompromised people in the middle of a pandemic, that's certainly your choice. When I weight the inconvenience to me, which is absolutely minimal vs actually inadvertently hurting somebody, the choice is not really complicated.
