The white chocolate Lindt truffles are the best things in Earth.

I never saw his chocolate show on FN, but he used to host a show on PBS called "Desert Circus" that was a ing trip. He'd make these incredibly complex deserts that no person could even attempt to make without years of culinary training, and every time he opened a cabinet or a drawer they'd animate a creepy little circus performer to pop out and fly across the screen.
I loved that ing show.
Ming should be an Iron Chef.
He should challenge Kat Cora for her spot.
From Broadway shows to cooking shows?
If he was a Top Chef, I would never miss an episode. Cat Cora is awful. Bobby Flay is good, but meh, the way he acted when he went to Japan for the original Iron Chef pissed me off, I have disliked him ever since.
I went to Jaques Torres' chocolate shop in Brooklyn about three years ago. I spent about $40 and I still couldn't have enough.
This post is, officially, orgasmic.
I never heard of that show.
Looks like I missed out.
Ferrero Rocher has a dark version now.
I like Torres....some of his stuff was amazing.
I really used to like Bobby Flay's Grillin and Chillin'.
Yea, he was a bit of an ass in Japan . . . and even in the rematch at New York.
But, I think he's made up for it since.
Do you ever watch "Boy Meets Grill"?
Food Network seems to be geared more towards "cooks" than "chefs" these days. I don't watch it anywhere near as much as I used to.
Some of that is OK, but then one gets popular and they take it too far. For example, Paula Deen and her one show was good. Then she took off and now there is Paula's Party, which sucks and a bunch of other crap.
And don't get me started on She Who Doesn't Tip for
She'd go over $40.00 in every single episode if she started leaving even 10%.
NO ! And you just know there are people who worship her who are doing the exact same thing all over the place. Sorry, if you are in another city and want three meals, you eat the continental breakfast at your hotel, lunch fast or from a cart then splurge on dinner and drinks, with PROPER tip.
How can any reasonable human being think that they can do not only three full sit-down meals but a snack as well and often a tail for under $40?![]()
I loved that show. It was awesome. I love the cooking shows on PBS that come on on Saturdays.
You're the first person I've ever encountered who's heard of it.
Except, of course, for the people I used to force to watch it with me.
Hey baby, where you been?![]()
Doesn't matter, I'm here now.![]()
Can we can the lame cooking show talk? Where the is Melmart when you need her?
You are just mad because I don't want to try your cable package.
You really do, but I understand why you can't say it publicly.
I guess I'll just have to tell Eva it'll only be the two of us.
