Rogers hasn't been linked to Texas for a while.
So now we're striking out wirh OL's ? lol
Rogers hasn't been linked to Texas for a while.
247 had a quick note on DL Malcolm Simpson of Hitch saying Texas is still somehow waiting on a transcript.
They believe we could see an offer extended with the loss of Mbatchou to Florida, and Nebraska losing their DC and DL coach to Florida State today.

OTF wrote this afternoon that Texas isn't confident for Marshall.
247 on ATH Michael Terry III of San Antonio Alamo Heights...
"Just got off the phone with a source in the Alamo city, and I'm told Nebraska has come on really strong in the recruitment of San Antonio Alamo Heights five-star ATH Michael Terry III in recent days. Horns247 is still expecting the eventual decision to be in favor of Texas but I have more concern in regards to Nebraska winning out this recruitment than I've had in a long time. Again, we're still expecting the decision to be in favor of Texas, but for the first time in a long time I could see Terry ending up at Nebraska as an actual realistic possibility where I previously hadn't had that view in quite some time."

Geez is there any good news...?..
Imo the portal may put some of these kids off.
We are definitely going to the portal for D-line and WR.
Probably O line as well unless we feel comfy that every player coming up will be as good as Trevor Goosby looked against ATM.
Golden, Bond, Norton, Mukuba, Lole, Trey Moore, Bolden played varying roles. But its pretty clear some of these guys got themselves into the NFL with this year at Texas.
I would say Lole would be a highlight example of a player not widely sought after due to injuries and then coming on and making a really big impact after transferring from UCLA I believe. Mukuba and Golden probably raised their NFL stock.
Its a tough gig.
We want to develop players but we need some guys pronto. If I was a new offensive tackle looking at the Left tackle position, I just saw Trevor Goosby wrap that up. Some guys dont want to be a year long project and play in 2026, they want to play as a Freshman like Kelvin Banks. And then you see Brandon Baker, true freshman, playing and looking good in a few games while also realizing UT will be looking for a portal OLineman...? Thats some tough compe ion.
We will need DL especially tackles. We need them competent. So Sharma and Myron Charles are willing to sit for a good portion of the season? I dont see how the staff handles all this. Staggering experience with depth is not easy. We seem to want to spread the NIL bucks more evenly among position groups than other teams might, but Im not positive about this. Glad I dont have to make these decisions.
In Sark we trust. He is a true badass. The team looks as good as any team we have had in decades. I hope we get a top class, but if we don’t, as long as we got Sark, we are gonna win. And win with class !
Hookem !!!
Team is wearing road whites this weekend, not home jerseys.
He has surprised us in the past with last few day flips in our favor. DK Moore being a huge exception. so far...
I feel like Sark has come a long way as a coach. He is an offensive guy yet he let our defense finish jobs this year as the offense could be shaky.
That not easy for an offensive coordinator. Sark really is a head coach and has bought into the so called "complementary football"
Huge kudos for believing in PK and Nansen-Baker combo. This is a very good strategy- tactics (fundamentals of D positions) combo.
And then going out and getting the players to help us with this. Mukuba and Moore + the D line transfers.
I have gotten over needing to crush ATM on the score and am happy by just humiliating their ability on offense and running through their defense.
Burke got doubled?
And leave Broughton 1 v 1... Thats the way to do it gaggie!
