Why are Craigslisters such assholes?
I'm trying to sell my old Treo. I thought I listed it well, explained the damages to the phone and took pictures. But people keep asking me if there are any physical problems with the phone, as if they haven't even looked at the photos or read the description.
Plus, I had this one jackass yesterday who pissed me the off.
He sent me an e-mail Friday night and I call him back. First, he talks me down on price and says to call him at 10 a.m., so I can meet him at The Quarry on my way to work. As it turns out, I needed to go there anyway. I call him at 10:15 a.m., and he tells me he'll meet me in 30 minutes. I get there at about 10:40 a.m., and go take care of what I need to exchange.
When I walk out of the store, I realize I've locked my keys in my truck. I call AAA and they send somebody out. At 11:05 a.m., I call the guy to find out if maybe he's parked or something looking for me and he tells me he's at 410 and 35 on his way. I'm even okay with that since AAA doesn't arrive for another 5 or 10 minutes.
He finally arrives at about 11:35 a.m., and we go to the Sprint Store so he can change his account over. We wait for awhile and he just holds onto my phone, looking at it and playing with it while we're waiting. We finally get called over and when the rep tells him the ESN is clear, he tries to work me down again. He wanted a total of $50 off my original asking price and I guess he thought I'd accept just to get it done, but little did he know I was already pissed at waiting, for locking my keys in my truck and for already being late for work.
He starts trying to finger the cracks on the phone to say they're about to break. Mind you, I've had the phone for almost two years and it's been broken for 3/4 of that time, but he's trying to get it to break in front of me.
At this point, I grabbed my phone, told him he was a huge waste of my time and I walk out.
What a ing prick. Carlos, you're an asshole and I hope you choke on a .
