You don't know anything about testing or viruses. All of your disagreement comes from partisan emotion.
Because doing nothing and pretending it will just go away in February and March is as effective as ramped up testing and contact tracing South Korea did early on.

DMC got on the short bus with derp and Chris and now he is begging to get off.
Poor guy claims he gets picked on when he chooses to come in playing Captain America for these two sticks of celery.
You will stay on the bus old man.
So the best way to combat a pandemic is to do nothing in your expert opinion? Thanks Dr Derp
Your contention that Koreans be lyin' is based on your extensive knowledge of testing and viruses?
Yeah that's a great conclusion to what I said. Because you know nothing about it, the answer is to do nothing. Since SK did something (as did China), they have magical results that in no way reflect repression of data and lack of thorough testing.
Cleaning fluid has damaged your brain.
Koreans be lyin' because according to your extensive knowledge they don't test enough?
and... the tap out via choke hold.

Let's see if posts does it again.
And then you have the gall to write this adjacent to your childish tap out.
Self awarness... Zero.
Your answer was that no one could possibly do better than doing nothing, Dr Derp. I can see why you're so quick to jump to 'muh chicago'
except for when they did test heavily weeks before we did, that didn't matter
Go diddle yourself ELISA creator.
Korea has tested 2m of 50m or 4% of the population. Texas has tested 6m of 28m or ~22% of the population. Texas has half the population while Korea is on about 14% of the land mass of Texas.
Of course the "death of the elderly from pneumonia" is very high but that's just how pneumonia goes.
How high is it?
Post the pneumonia deaths per month in 2020.
lol perfect for foldren

Let us proceed...
This is sort of a silly argument that overlooks a number of things:
1) What kind of contact tracing did Texas do? None, AFAIK.
2) Texas didn't start doing relatively massive testing until the pandemic was well underway (think months). And yes, doing both testing and contact tracing early does matter, because you want to stop the spread early.
You can do all the testing you want, but if you can't do contact tracing, find the asymptomatic spreaders and isolate them, you're just not being very efficient in reducing the spread of the infection.
Now, I think it's a silly comparison too, because there's no way in you're going to get contact tracing done in Texas, so in those instances I think darwinism wins.
