i meant it in a way to say that the bands that are playing sxsw this year aren't something i'd drool over.
well... the show that we're mainly going to see is free, no wristband needed.... it's the 17th of march. my friends brother lives in austin... so we'll probably go up there the 15th and come back the night of the 17th.
There were only two reasons I wanted to go to SXSW this year: Public Enemy and the technology expo.

I saw them when they played out here. Concert was good, but it was easily one of the most annoying audiences I've ever seen.
RHCP is one of the most annoying bands.
"Blood Sugar Sex Magic" was their peak, and I haven't liked anything at all since "Californication", but I was being nice and took my little sisters for their birthday. I just like their older stuff.

Oh Damn. They must have just added that. I'm too far to go. Mastodon is by far the best metal band out there right now. SXSW is joke in my eyes though. More than half the bands on it are already signed. It's been that way the past 10 years. Plus I can't stand Austin. I'll close my negativity spout now.
