I still don't know why these quattro threads get split up. I remember the original one was enormous, but I thought they randomly split them up.

Just because I'm a nice person I'll explain it. The original took up too much space. It was deleted close to the end of the 2005 season. The new server required that a thread be "split" at 4,000 posts or 54 pages so the server didn't get bogged down with an enormous thread like the original. The original is dead and buried somewhere in internet land.
