Yep. Its best to leave them in water overnight in your fridge, also. Gets rid of the starch and makes it cook crispier in a quicker amount of time. Enjoy

Mmm mmm! I like them both ways, plain or with ketchup. But I firmly believe that hash browns, like mashed potatoes, should NEVER be adulterated with stuff like onions, garlic, cheese, etc. That totally ruins it for me!
