Good god.
Guys like that don't know what to do with free time. If he retired, he'd probably literally die from boredom within the year.

It is the pain indured that will separate us from the rest.
Cant get much worse than a big prestigious school with a compe ive past from a neat town getting clobbered by teams from Waco, Fort Worth and yes... even Lubbock.
And we cant even use A&M as a punching bag anymore.
As long as his checks don't bounce, he is as welcome as any other big time donor. Heard he threw a of a party at the Ole Miss game.
Damn..
people must have their football
Eh, he's a little too comfy in that locker room imo
keep in mind this is Texas, they are inclusive of all kinds.
If I were coach I'd exclude them until I start winning les.
To each their own
You forgot about Lawrence. Because that happened too. I know everyone one wants to forget.
Does that look tacky as to anyone else?
I don't get it myself... I thought the goal was to make a "better gameday atmosphere" but yet this only helps the student-atheletes who have not been winning. I understand there is a lot of money coming in, why not put that into making more seats, maybe dome the field, etc. lots of things that can be done to help the people that have been keeping the players going for quite a few seasons that they have not been winning.
Why would I go to a game to watch a big screen when I can do that at home.
I went to UT from 95-99. I went to a few games over the last couple of years, and it was definitely not as great an atmosphere. I think moving the student section closer to the field is a long overdue move. We used to go ape between the 40 yard lines and I didn't see nearly as much of that spirit when I went recently.
Check out these sweet seats
