Ive read Thomas and his family have been very big UT fans for the majority of his life and if he were a more vocal kid it would be much more widely known that he will end up in burnt orange. Said he doesn’t really like the recruiting process and will end it relatively early.
For what it’s worth, there was a poster on surly that said they were family friends of Tunmise (sounds like To-meshay) and that they think the only school that poses threat to Texas is Bama. Also said they were less of a threat now that Milroe is committed. People say crazy stuff all the time for “clout,” so take it with a grain of salt.
I’m just glad a kid gets turned on to a school by a professor.

IT hinted at this in last weeks podcast. Good prospect but very raw and will take some time to develop.
I wonder if the staff took him bc they don’t feel good on Lindberg or bc he’s a take even if it scares off Lindberg.
They did well scouting Sam Cosmi having been a lower rated player and becoming one of the best tackles in the country. No questioning this staff.
He's a take on his own imo, plus he's a true tackle where Lindberg may end up inside.
This also allows for the staff to comfortably wait out Lindberg if that's what they decide to do.
Very true! He is listed at 240lbs so he will have to add another 40-50lbs in the weight room to compete at that level. Yancy can take care of that.
FWIW, Inside Texas isn't positive OL Chad Lindberg is still on the table.
A reason for that is wanting numbers available for the 2021 OL.
Such is life. Glad we’re taking this approach though. Lindberg isn’t a cant miss player. He has good upside and he’s very talented but he wouldn’t even be a top 5 OL in the state next year. I like that the staff did everything they could do early to get him on board and are letting him do his own thing because we have to get done.
