Nahlin at IT said the other two mystery guys he was referencing yesterday were CB Dorian Brew, and another A&M commitment.
Obviously neither one worked out.

No doubt more viewers in SEC Country than in the past matchups.

In case you missed it, LB Madden Faraimo chose Notre Dame.
LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng committed to Michigan.

Texas put up billboards in hometowns again this year.
Interesting to note, as of today, the only conferences that landed five star recruits were the Big Ten and the SEC. No other conference including the Big 12 and the ACC landed a single five star.
and this is why a new subdivision need to be created, perhaps with a relegation/promotion system for poor performing schools in higher subdivisions and high performing schools in lower subdivisions. each subdivision with a playoff system.
Which recruiting services ratings are you referring to? ESPN? Rivals? another?
Looking at 247's rankings.
I don't think Big XII is even a major conference in football anymore. It seems like the CFP committee is already starting to think like this.
Hamilton at OTF said he's waiting on three or four DL names to enter the portal.
Texas will have "serious interest" in all of them.
WR Nic Anderson (Oklahoma) and WR Barion Brown (Kentucky) both entered the portal today.
IT doesn't think Texas will go after either one.
That is too bad, because I like Brown from KY, especially in the return game. That kid is electric on punt and kick return.
Speaking of WR, will Texas jump into the ring for Micah Hudson?
My guess is they have a pretty good idea of who will become available and/or maybe Brown isn't quite what they're looking for.
As far as Hudson, 247 thinks Texas will eventually be involved but that one gives me Stewart vibes from last year where the staff will end up passing.
We shall see.
Waiting to see if the staff gave him a nudge out the door, or if they wanted to keep him.
Aside from grabbing guys in the portal, the interior DL depth chart appears wide open.
I hope we make it clear how important Lole and Norton were/are to our defense. Kinda advertise success I guess. Or maybe not seeing how that player from TCU went to OU… forgot his name. Damon…
Aside: Great job on the reference material first page TFloss.
I personally don’t have a great feeling about Hudson.
If he is a Jontay type, please no.
Culture thing (that I don’t pretend to entirely understand)
IT agrees three or four portal DL will be the target.
Oh you mean like Vanderbilt?
