We couldnt get ?
I haven't seen anything that Texas had interest.
He was worthy of winning, no doubt. A better two player than Woodson, no doubt too.
But Woodson was always a defensive stud first and foremost. Woodson's brilliant NFL career proved that. There's a reason two way players don't really work in the NFL. You have to pick a side and be good or great on that side of the ball to really last in the NFL.
I mean that Deion haters have disappeared. That's about it.
Wasn't Ewers also the #1 ranked recruit in the nation? He was noticeably absent from the ceremony.
Yeah.
Thats why those camps being such a big factor in rankings should be questioned. Ewers missed a whole year of HS football and a whole year of college football (except for two or three handoffs)
Actually being on a field with defenders trying to kill you is probably more important than how a QB does on the practice range. People just completely dismissed those two years off and way over rated the throwing that goes on in those "no touch him" camps. I guess it is still possible to fix his pocket presence and long throws. And I do see why some people are enamored with his good throws above the linebackers and in front of the DBs. On his good throws it looks so effortless. I hope he does ok as he seems like a guy who is forced to be a personality he is not.
Oh my...
This kid looked really good.
I would be afraid if I was in the UT running back room and we had a chance with him.
