Michael had all the money in the world to hire the best defense and clear his good name right? But he didn't, he threw money at the problem to make it go away because he knew he was guilty as . If he were truly innocent he would fight this case at all costs because money was not an object and he had everything to lose including his freedom. So that's what he did right? oops nope he threw hush money to multiple families, 2 million to one 25 million to another. Which opened himself up to the third famiily which may or may not have been a money grab attempt, but he brought that problem upon himself by throwing huge amounts of money in around in the first two cases.
He was guilty and he knew it, his lawyers knew it, plenty of evidence had that 2nd boy testified in court along with his corroborating evidnece describing his genitals and birthmarks.

I know, everyone seems to be getting them confused. The first case, the one that was paid off happened like 10 years earlier. But in that one, they found out that the dad was feeding the kid sedatives (sodium Amytal), then questioning him. Then they have evidence of the dad threatening to ruin Jackson, and he approached Jackson to reach a financial settlement before he made a complaint with LAPD. That's where all those doubts came from. And the genital comparison was not exact. The penis experts said there were similarities, but not an exact match.
Here's a quote by the dad was entered as evidence,of someone asking the dad if he was concerned how a trial could affect his son, Chandler (the kid's dad) replied, "That's irrelevant to me...It will be a massacre if I don't get what I want. It's going to be bigger than all us put together...This man [Jackson] is going to be humiliated beyond belief...He will not sell one more record".

I find a lot of this puzzling. MJ is a pedophile who preyed on children that were being pros uted by their parents? How did their parents have prior knowledge that he would their kids so they could get money through a civil lawsuit? Why would MJ knowingly come to an agreement where he'd be sued and his name tarnished?
He had hundreds of kids that stayed with him during this time, from the same socioeconomic class. Can we assume that the parents of these children were okay pros uting their children for no financial reward?
We'll never know for sure if he's guilty or not, but many of the arguments against MJ fueled bloodthirsty hate don't appear to be logical IMO. Because from what you're arguing, it would seem that the accusers sold their children's asses for money, while everyone else sold their children's asses for just the sheer joy of doing so.
But whatever. He's dead now, it's not my job to judge him. I was a Jackson fan way before this all happened and by that time I had pretty much out grown him and thought he was pretty looney. Did he molest kids? It's very possible. But that's not going to change what I felt/thought about Michael Jackson when I was a kid, so what if that's how some of us choose to remember him?
I like the Jackson 5 stuff from when he was a kid...that's probably the way I'll remember him. He really did turn into a freak. But I don't think he was a pedophile...people that become enormously successful and then become reclusive due to the overwhelming burden of fame always become targets for whatever accusations people want to level at them, because they are reclusive it's easy for people to project the worse on them.
I would truly like to know if he was a pedophile or not, but thanks to greed of the parents we'll never know for sure, it will be entirely speculative.
I personally think that those that are inclined to be pedophiles will project their self hating pedophillic urges upon him in the absence of him defending himself much like those preachers condemn sexual preference and tell people how they are going to burn in while they are molesting kids themselves like there's no tomorrow.
I like his song " Man in the Mirror." and the stuff he sang as a part of the Jackson 5.

They knew what was up. But they were more concerned with free vacations on MJ's dime, hanging out in Neverland where the wait staff are about you hand and foot.

1) Its the parents fault and this somehow casts doubt as to whether these events actually happened. Enough so that you can rationalize a grown man admitting to a TV camera that he sleeps with other peoples children in his bed, in his house...without the parents there. Somehow, in your world, you can rationalize that MJ was just a manchild of some sort and that this specific behavior was acceptable and not worthy of law enforcement's attention.

2) Its an "everybody is guilty" situation. Its like slavery in a sense. If its illegal, do you only cast guilt upon the trader? The buyer? Or both? The parents should be hung, period....right next to MJ. But the parents were such cowards they couldnt even admit their own guilt.

Nope. That never happened. They wanted to be the victim so they could get paid. And they did get paid. For those barely-humans, its a lifetime achievement. They played a pedophile celebrity for a fool and won. MJ was just too stupid and sick in the head to know that could happen. He probably thought it was all taken care of. He paid them, he took care of them...this wasnt for free, they knew that.
Basically, line them all up shoulder to shoulder and walk slowly down the line pulling the trigger while looking them in their animal eyes. The world would have been better for it.

And the answer is simple, because he was surrounded by greedy people, greddy people are always attracted to money... , some of them would pimp their own children out to get to it.
This is about where I am with the whole thing.
I was a huge Michael Jackson fan as a kid. Huge. And I still am a dancing fool every time something from "Thriller" or "Off the Wall" or the Jackson 5 pops up on my iPod. But I'm finding it hard to mourn the passing of an artist who, for all intents and purposes, has been gone a long time. He's been nothing but a creepo (whether or not he touched little boys, he was clearly ed in the head) and a punchline for the last 15+ years, and it would be incredibly disingenuous for me to now pretend like I didn't laugh at a lot of those jokes over the years.
TMZ has the 911 call, and they are saying that he was dead at the scene but his personal doc wouldn't let the EMTs say it, that he insisted they take him to the hospital
