son they have given him credit that he hasn't deserved since his rookie season lol ... the dude is hands down the most overrated and over hyped ROLE player to EVER play in pro sports history.
The team just released the news that he has Plantar Fascitis..
Been lacking speed and explosiveness all season.. he played for the French national team this past off season and really hasnt had a break for well over a year.

Not good at all. At least he lit up the Lakers tonight in the 3rd Q![]()
ty news.. if Parker doesnt get back to his 20 and 7 100% play come playoff time then the Spurs cant beat the Lakers.
Doesnt matter how well everyone else is playing.
Spurs fans are more reserved then usual in a win because the Lakers got within 6 points with 5 mins left.
sons, CP3 aint that bad.
Not really..this always happens to the Spurs, it doesn't matter who the compe ion is..always get big leads and blow them..the fact that there was a 22-point lead with Kobe playing was nice to see though..
It's just another game, it really doesn't mean anything..the Lakers were missing their most valuable player, so we'll have to see how we match up with you guys when he plays..I don't like the chances, but maybe the Spurs will continue to improve, the talent is there..
Kobe not being there is irrelevant to me though..he played 32 minutes and the Lakers shot a better % from the field with Kobe out than they did when he was playing, so I don't think they would have played good enough to erase a 15-point lead..
Meaningless game..
From what I saw of Bynum.
Bynum at times was like a black hole on offense. It seemed to me that he was trying to make more of a personal statement than help his team to victory. He looked quite selfish out there.
I noticed that every time Duncan scored on him, Bynum just HAD to keep taking shots to counter if the other Lakers gave him the ball in the post. I think he needs to work on his maturity and his rushing shots will minimize.
He did play pretty well. I finally got to see some 1v1 moves from him. Solid big, lots of physical tools. Not sure when he will reach his full potential, but when he does, the whole NBA will know it.
Not really. Several Kobe threads are made everyday.
I'm glad with the win, but just a little disappointed the spurs didn't play the lakers at full health. I was thinking if anybody was going to and whine about injuries, I'd pull the manu card on them
You're thinking the spurs could beat the lakers at full health?![]()
I merged a bunch of Kobe threads here... that was too much Kobe spread all over the forum.
Manu and Tony at times have played well below what they are capable of this season.
The Spurs at full health and playing up to their potential could most certainly beat the Lakers in one game that is. Lakers are the better team though. We still got lots of work to do before the playoffs.

Yeah... his 70% from the field obviously drug the team down to their 44%.

Ok agreed.![]()
America, eatin' my lunch from a single bowl in my parents basement, where I'm livin'. Happy Birthday, I'm forty-three.
Don't want to waste those precious calories...chewin'. Jesus come move my jaw for me, help me get my sloppy food down my throat.
Somebody's gotta explain this to me sometime, I've seen this a lot lately![]()
Lakers have no depth. They are only good when they play bad teams at home. They are soft
Minus Ariza (who at last count probably weighed in at 200 Lbs) this is still the same team from last year who so happened to have beaten up one of if not the most physical team in the NBA....The Celtics.....twice. Unfortunately they didn't meet in the Finals but it was obvious the Lakers had moved up the ladder of being one of those physical teams.
They also contained one of the best big men in Dwight Howard. Now, what is your basis in calling them soft?
It makes you wonder if their capabilities you are familiar with are not longer there, just saying.
This is where you guys kill me. Kobe was hurt in the first and was not himself the whole game but it didn't matter because he played 32 minutes but when Manu played hurt in the playoffs, it was the number one excuse on why the Lakers won.![]()
Meaningless game with nothing on the line for the lakers. The spurs won. Congrats.
I would like the lakers to sit Kobe for a couple of weeks, he's obviously having issues and wearing down from playing at a high level into June for the last couple of seasons. When going for 3 straight le appearances this is the toughest season as far as injuries and just plain boredom are concerned.
