30% members here can do better than E-N writers, they write for making a living, we read for Spurs, that's the issue. If there was no quotation in their articles, they were producing rabbish.

This is really annoying, I have noticed a lot of websites that are doing this. I thought to myself: "won't google catch on to this?"

I just read through a few different articles, each one atleast 3 pages, and each one the last page only had 1 or 2 lines. Of course the ads were different on each page. Very lame, and yet another reason to get my news elsewhere.

You think that is for traffic numbers? Multiple pages, multiple ads, double or triple the revenue?

Bingo.

Websites typically make profit by the number of hits they receive and, moreso, how many advertisements those hits are exposed to. When people actually click on the ads, the website makes even more money.

Stretching the articles across three pages is them attempting to boost revenue at the expense of your time and bandwidth.

It's the same reason they want everybody reading their articles on mysa.com, and not on spurstalk.com. Doesn't feed the monkey.

They can act like this cause they're the only publication. They raise their prices and make their newpapers smaller. It's a ing joke. Fine, don't post their bull articles here. There are PLENTY of other sources to get your Spurs info.
