You got Served 9/10
Secretariat - 6.5/10
Nice story...but too much overacting by Diane Lane.
Suckerpunch.
Interesting concept, but I didn't really care for it. I'll give it a 9/10 for creativity though.
Zookeeper - 5/10
Had some funny moments but really got facepalmingly ridiculous towards the end.
Hall Pass 7/10: took a while to get going, but had some funny stuff. I could have done without the hot tub scene
Cedar Rapids 5/10: had some moments, but meh.
Problem child is a 5/5. Poor kid you just know sister elizbeth molested this poor kid.
Gone Baby Gone - 9.5/10
Wow...best crime drama I've seen in a very long time. Can't believe I've waited so long to see it. Great acting, atmosphere, plot...solid on every single level. Ben Affleck needs to do more directing.
Band of Outsiders (Bande à part) 7.5/10
Pulp Fiction dance scene was inspired from this film and Anna Karina is damn fine <33
Sourcecode 7/10
Good movie.

I just saw this too. I'd give it a B though. Didn't really mind Laurel and Hardy much. I liked the astral projection part of the story. I thought it was well done. Yeah, that was too similar of a copy of Mr Maul but it worked. I just didn't care that much for the ending. I can totally see a sequel to this. Who knows if Maul didn't get into Dalton. <shrugs>
It was very good. Kind of a syrupy ending. 8/10
I've been having a nonstop Harry Potter nerdgasm for about 2 weeks nowSaw them all in order, culminating with the finale at the theater; I thought the finale was fitting even if syrupy. But it wasn't enough to get it out of my system and last night I popped in "Sorceror's Stone" to start the ride all over again!!

Funny how addictive some of these kid movies can be. A couple of days ago I rewatched Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix (my personal favorites) and today have the strangest urge to watch Deathly Hallows I.
In the spirit of the thread, I gave Deathly Hallows II a 6.5/10 and Cowboys & Aliens 7/10.
Order of The Phoenix is my favorite I think.
I don't know, I just can't consider them "kid movies". I don't see how a kid can catch and understand every detail, twist and nuance. At home, I'm constantly rewinding, re-watching and re-listening, otherwise I'm always feeling like "Wait a sec, what the was that??"![]()
Captian America - 7.5/10
Good summer flick. Not the best of the Avenger movies but plenty good enough to catch in the theater. Avengers trailer....![]()
After.Life 3/5
Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 7.5/10
Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen - 8.5/10
bump. Sorry, trying to get the other two threads together if only for a moment
Take me home tonite: 1 out of 10.
Pure crap. Waste of 90 minutes.
Finally saw zombie land. Pretty damn good.
Mother and Child - 3.5/5
"the wild and wonderful whites of west virginia" - ★★★★☆
