The Hobbit naturally
But unless Anne Hathaway takes a lot of pills and dies here in a few Weeks, TDKR is going to eat avengers'dust
TDKR and the Hobbit are gonna c-stomp the Avengers, Spidey, etc etc

Yeah, people won't want to see the sequel to a movie that made over a billion dollars unless one of the stars die.
Yeah people dying never inflates the popularity of movies, albums, etc
I doubt that people will all of a sudden not want to see the sequel to a movie that was critically and commercially successful like The Dark Knight.
And I've always doubted it would have done so well had heath not made himself a TDK martyr.
we will find out soon enough
Relevant.
Did you finally see The Dark Knight, or are you still scoffing just to be a contrarian?
Also, it seems rather arbitrary and unnecessary to your position to suggest that someone from the current cast needs to die in order to make The Dark Knight Rises a box office success. You could maintain your argument just by suggesting that Heath Ledger was a big enough martyr to over-inflate the critical and commercial success of the whole damn franchise from here on out.
I did see it, and bale's voice alone made me learn to never doubt how stupid the average movie goer is. The avengers bit was partly to troll, but its not me hating for no reason. I have always been a huge bale fan, and it was a horrible movie. Took a whil for me to place TDK in perspective with all of bales other great works.
That's true what you say, but people have very short term memories these days. I will be very interested to see how TDKR does relative to every block buster this year, considering the amazing success for the previous movie. And what I said wasn't arbitrary.
Naturally I'm hoping it doesn't do as well as tdkr fan boys expect, cuz then I can feel special for being right about heath's death and tdk success.

Avatar bet?
I know I'm gonna win
In fact, I already won
I can respect that, even though I disagree. Only reason I ever gave you a hard time on the subject was because of how often you called the movie horrible without having seen it. Which was just lazy. And obvious in its contrivance.
Come on, now. You're invested enough in your point of view on this one you'll likely find a reason to feel special for being right no matter the box office figures. That's why it's arbitrary.
Its not arbitrary to imply that death inflates popularity of associated works. Which is basically all I've ever said about tdk
I admitted to being totally wrong about heath's performance, I admitted it was really good after seeing it. The movie overall was not good.
I can't take the mookie crew's opinion on this series seriously after hemann claimed that Nolan Ripped off Burton by making BB and TDK serious.
I'm not heman...
I didn't claim you were. You are, however, guilty by association, since you and your buddies are a hivemind.
Not what I meant.
I'm suggesting that a drop off in box office results is an arbitrary benchmark when your opinion of The Dark Knight and the reason for its success has already been set in stone for years.
You decided that Ledger's death was the reason the movie was over hyped before it was even released, and that has remained your opinion ever since. It is therefore silly to suggest that a smaller box office take than expected is somehow necessary to confirm the opinion of which you are already so certain.
Nah that's libel
Mookie and I are total opposites in the spurs forum before he disappeared
pego laughed in the veteran robbery thread, I said it was sick
You realize you guys are saying you can't take a troll seriously, right?
Lol
Ohhh. Well of course.
hemann only claims to be trolling after people point out how re ed his posts are. He'll try to make points, a person who isn't stupid will tell him why what he posted is stupid, then he'll claim that he was trolling all along.
Pandemic 'round these parts. Tbh.

The movie looks like it has the tint of the snow level from Inception.
Some cult Batman graphic novel featured snow.
I think they used it as a reference
