You'd rather have a program that keeps a coach that had a preseason top 10 ranking, a ton of returning starters, and finishes the season 6-6 and is .500 after 4 years?

Pre-season top 10 ranking was just hype/illusion. A&M lost a ton of close games this season, and I think they were generally headed in the right direction.

But my comment was more directed at the possible firing of A&M's AD. He's probably on contract too, so buying him out too is adding to the fail bill.

He planned on retiring in a little over a year when his contract was up. AD's salary != HC's salary

Pre-season ranking was due to us losing a TOTAL of 2 starters. He should have done much, much better this year.

I know the AD's salary is much less than the football coach's, but it's still another bill. HC buyout, Big XII settlement... now AD buyout? Im just saying, that bill is adding up.

We picked the Kansas game for Military Appreciation Day, and I think our staff and the Corps of Cadets “really did it up brown.” ...... President George Bush ’41 received the loudest ovation of the day with Lt. Dan (Gary Sinise) a close second.

What a gut wrenching football loss. Being raised Catholic, I wondered driving home whether I had wanted the victory so much that it was my fault for the loss. Catholics call these lessons Venial Sins, and like many of you, I must have wanted it too much. My Mom used to tell me thinking it was as bad as doing it, and believe me, I really wanted the win so I'm likely off to Purgatory. Judging from some of your mail though, I believe there's an even warmer place some of you prefer to send me, and I don't mean Hawaii.
