The thing is that I'm more excited about the shoes than the tweet, they're sick.
Awesome!

A&M has hired former Ole Miss, Auburn and current Texas Tech Defensive Line coach Terry Price to replace Terrell Williams. Very pleased with this hire.
Good guess. RSJ just told HornsNation that he’ll announce his decision by the end of the week. Between Texas and LSU.
DE Torrodney Prevot has been offered by OU, per 24/7.
Prevot could also be at JD2

Breaking News: Texas gets commitment #3 (Thurs. 12:54pm)
http://texas.247sports.com/Board/21/...54pm-7805412/1
Who is commit 3?
Great news. Defense or offense? D seems to make the most sense.
Awesome news on Robinson. There was no doubt he liked Texas because he's said he wants a great law school and something close to home, but he doesn't talk much so he's hard to get a read on. I wonder if he'll be the staff's #1 DT eventually if things go south with Manning. It may open up a spot for a guy like Gustafson on the OL if Robinson is moved to defense.
Arlington Heights’ Robinson becomes Horns’ third commitment
By Richard Tijerina | Thursday, February 16, 2012, 01:21 PM
Texas has reportedly picked up its third commitment for 2013.
Fort Worth Arlington Heights offensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson, who is the state’s No. 7 overall recruit on our initial Fabulous 55 list of the state’s top recruits, has given the Longhorns his commitment, according to Hookem.com, the American-Statesman’s Internet partner, which was informed of the commitment from Robinson’s coaches.
Robinson, who attended Texas’ junior day this past Sunday, is the Longhorns’ third commitment. He joins Celina defensive lineman/offensive lineman Jake Raulerson, who committed on Feb. 3, and Dallas Jesuit wide receiver Jake Oliver, who pledged on Wednesday.
All three of Texas’ early commitments are rated among the top eight recruits on the initial Fab 55: Raulerson is No. 4, Robinson No. 7, and Oliver No. 8.
Robinson is 6-5 and 302 pounds.
Per OrangeBloods and his Twitter page, DE Torrodney Prevot of Alief Taylor believes he has a Texas offer (or will receive one). He spoke with Oscar Giles on the phone earlier today and is supposed to sit down with his coach to go over things soon. We all know how UT operates so it sounds like he's been approved by the staff and he'll need to get on campus to make it official. He may be attending JD2 depending on his track schedule.
That's a surprise based on how the staff has held on to defensive offers. They must be sold on him as a DE if they're offering.
Great news about Ashawn. Really surprised me with all the Flenory talk.
24/7 was saying his mother had a big influence on the decision after attending JD1 with him. Interested to hear an interview. We'll never know if the staff addressed Flenory, but they've been known to talk to recruits about those things and stay from those that aren't their parents or coaches.
Quote from WR Jake Oliver after committing to UT yesterday:
"I talked to Ra'Shaad Samples on the phone yesterday and I'm trying to get him to come with me," he said. "Tyrone Swoopes, I'm trying to get him to come with me. And getting Ricky Seals-Jones, that would be fine with me, too."
He's a man of few words, but some quotes from OL/DL A'Shawn Robinson:
"I just wanted to help Texas win a national championship," Robinson said shortly after committing.
"I think it's my work ethic and my will to never stop trying. And I keep my head on straight with what I want to do," Robinson said. "On defense, I need to work on just getting off the ball a little quicker. I get off the ball pretty quick, but I can still get quicker. What I do best is swarm to the ball, get off blocks and just make plays."
"I'm a run stopper," he said. "I can make a lot of impact plays. I feel like I have a lot of playmaking abilities."
"It feels good. I wanted to just go into my senior season not having to worry about it and wanted to get it over with," Robinson said. "I'll be there next year to help win a national championship."
Gerry at 247 put chances of Robinson eventually picking Texas at 10% just about one week ago! He said it was one he just felt like was going the wrong direction and I'm sure that was based on above.
From Orangebloods -
Robinson has the potential to star on either side of the ball, but he's said previously that he'd like to play on defense. On Thursday, he said the Texas coaches have told him he can have his shot on that side of the ball, and Robinson believes he can help Texas on the interior of its defensive line.
Here's a guy who's starting to see his stock rise much like Prevot. Inside Texas wrote about him at the beginning of the year; OL Maurice Porter of Fort Bend Marshall. His film is included in the link.

A reminder that the first day of spring practice is in exactly one week (2/23).
One week to go until County Fair begins. Hope they're ready.
