    No. Splitter has great chemistry with the starting lineup and Baynes is new. That would be a disaster to insert him that early.

    Are you a long-time Spurs fan, or just since Patty arrived? There is NO WAY this will happen. Baynes has a difficult and complex system to learn before Pop will consider playing him in anything but garbage time.

    I wish people would realise the Baynes signing is primarily for the future, and to cover Dejuan's spot as 5th big when he gets traded. Baynes will not come in and start!

    The Grizz game wasn't a strong loss - a close game in OT. The Hornets and Knicks games were strong losses. The Lakers game was pathetic despite being a win.

    Wouldn't mind having him with the backup uint as our 4th big with Diaw off the bench but starting is out of the question.

    I was more referring to the fact that Splitter plays better with the bench. Are there any rotations that would have Splitter come off the bench?

    At this point, Splitter is comfortable and reaching his full potential in the SL. No need to demote him back just so he can carry the bench load. That's Diaw's job.

    It was a strong loss. I watched it start to finiush. We played well except for 3mins at end of 1st half, and 2mins at end of 4th Q, then ran out of gas in OT.
