Spurs are somewhat coasting
It was never 5 seconds, hardly 3...
Spurs are somewhat coasting
Bummer finish, but we still looked like we were hardcore dominating that game, I feel good about this
This team isn't going to beat the Heat playing like this.
They're going to need to have a flashback from last year's offense to get it done tbh.
OMG, the Bonner hate is ridic here.
So cute these Grizzlies players and fans think they can beat the Spurs. ZBo another 0fer half, they just lucky they didn't shoot their normal 60% from the line and own a 12-2 FT advantage. Oh, and the Spurs can't connect from downtown either. We got this
He'll turn into a ghost against the Miami Heat, he just has a matchup advantage against Memphis, that's all.
It was 5 seconds I rewinded it and counted
Overall not a terrible half at all outside of that last 20 seconds and the atrocious outside shooting for the Spurs. Hit a usual percentage of those 3s and it's a 12-14 pt game.
Gasol is mind ed. He's throwing fits and acting like someone who has lost complete composure. Spurs just have to keep playing strong defense and working the paint like they have but make an open 3 when it's there. Grizzlies aren't leaving the shooters on penetration and it's why the Spurs are killing them in the paint. Keep playing it smart
Spurs have missed open threes and Bayless just made two threes with hands in his face, ya that shouldn't happen.
The only reason the Spurs won't win this game is because they take themselves out of it. How badly do they want it? That's the question right now. The second they let up, Grizz are going to claw their way in. They lose this game and they will have only themselves to blame for the hope and hard play they'll ignite.
A lot of the defensive improvements this year came from personnel changes (ie timmy and splitter playing together)
now if only we could get that amazing ball movement back.
Pop the bed. Not only by making a mental midget like Bonner inbounding the ball, but having a small player defending the inbound
Come on guys, it wasn't Bonner's fault no one was open, and it wasn't even five seconds.
Every ing game the Grizzlies get into the Bonus by the 7 or 8 min mark. What BS....
Did you start at 1 or 0? It seemed like barely 4 seconds real time, but I wasn't in stopwatch mode when it happened.
Magic Johnson is impressed that the Spurs came in wanting to win this game. I never took him for someone with such low expectations.
He's a bad broadcaster, a terrible homer and has pretty weak takes during commentary. I stopped listening awhile ago.
Against the Heat it'll be even sooner.
It starts adding up when Zach Randolph is gifted 2 calls or so a quarter tbh
There is an easy way to fix that - stop assuming the refs are going to call fairly or evenly and stop making stupid ass fouls.
My conclusions from the first half of this game is that Marc Gasol is a ing , tbh.
This. I'm not worried.
