Rice grad?
Oh I was wondering what your opinion was. Thanks.
Rice grad?
nope. Goto Upenn
Is that where you went? Incarnate Word?
no worries of anyone over rating Penn, imo.
So how can you say anything about Rice?
Its a good school no doubt, but I think your analogy of the Harvard of texas is incorrect. I would probably choose UT over Rice if given the choice (of course it depends on what you want to do..)
thinking I have mod powers.
What you majoring in tbh imo fwiw?
So, still claiming your troll buddies are not here?
Maybe not in that thread, but the Chumpie Circus is definitely here.
I said they weren't in the thread with my name on it, Ivy.
My thread keeps getting deleted bro, and you were the last one in there
I'm a Biochem major, trying to switch to business though. Wish I had made a more informed decision and asked others for advice initially, but I'll probably just stay an extra year now.
Not much difference IMHO.
I would choose UT over Rice too.
Stephen F. Austin is an Ivy League school in your opinion.
Wharton finance majors are pretty much set for life, so business sounds like a good idea![]()
exactly. Wharton might be a bit overrated too, but its usually duking it out with Harvard as the best business school in the country year after year. Name recognition is vital especially when applying for a good MBA program.
When it's banks/hedge funds/etc. that overrate Wharton when they're deciding who to offer high paying jobs to, being overrated is a good thing.
I'm essentially busting my ass at work right now so I can transition into the type of job Wharton grads have.
I'm not going to pretend like I have a high business a en at this point, but I really don't think that undergrad should play as big of a role as it does. Sure, you congregate the gunners and the average intelligence of the students is higher, but individuals at other schools may be more qualified for certain jobs. That being said, I'm sure that if I applied specifically to get into the top business program in the country, I would have a different view on things.
In any case, good luck with it.
thanks.
Anyone who incurs the debt and yet still gets their college degree, I wholeheartedly applaud.
Ignorance in all it's ugly forms is what is killing this nation IMHO.
A degree from U-Penn >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any high business a en.
I work with a few people who were poly Sci/liberal arts majors at Columbia/Cornell and they're all in really good jobs![]()
well, you wouldn't be able to get into Rice so it's a moot point
You have no idea, and that is the moot point.

I'm just going on what others say who assess schools for a living:

If I had to pay my own way, I'd go to UT too but if I had full scholly to either, I'd have to do research on which might be better for me personally.
