Simple. Infinity contains EVERYTHING. We are just a product of the infinite. No matter what is out there it will still only be a product of the infinite. God is the infinite.

People do miraculous things all the time. A person falling from the sky with a broken chute and survives. Landing a plane on the Hudson. A miracle doesn't need to involve the divine. It just needs to garner an improbable positive result. Jesus was a person, therefore, he can perform miracles just as we can. I also never claimed he performed "magic". I'm not trying to make you worship. That is pointless. I am just trying to make a point that you cannot stereotype believers. I do look at the bible with skepticism just the same as with science. I just look for connections and patterns to try to make sense of the plethora of information.

I never said you did. You're quite easy to dismiss.

I am not stereotyping believers. I'm stereotyping you. You are taking what is a difficult concept for many people like infinity and deifying it. It's typical nonsense. People have been doing that about physical phenomenon since before history. People used to see the sun and call it Ja and worship it. You conceive of something boundless and you worship it.

You're downplaying the miracles of the bible as being nothing more than Vegas illusion magic tricks.

I believe that Jesus did perform miracles. As far as dying for our sins, if that is what he believed he was doing, then yes he did die for our sins. It doesn't matter what I think he died for. He was the one doing the dying.

After I die, I will just return to the universe until I become a part of something else. I think that energy is what makes living things well... living things. I don't believe that my energy will die, just become a part of something else.

Regarding the Bible, there are things I believe have substance. There are too many to list in full. For example, the flood. I believe it was cased by an earthquake in the ocean. This could explain the animals as well as science has shown that they can sense earthquakes and will flee. The earthquake triggered a tsunami destroying everything. How Noah knew to build the ark? Either he was crazy, or knew it was going to happen.
