I promise, I didn't cry. I am just tired, okay.
Don't forget to participate in the temp avi change in honor of TD.![]()
Words are not enough but they are all that we have.
Thank you.
19 wonderful, amazing, awesome seasons no Spurs fan ever dreamed before.
Thank you TD
21 forever
I'll never forget going to the Salt Lake Summer League and watching Tim Duncan play his first summer league game as a Spur agains the Utah Jazz. A lot of media have misrepresented that game over the years saying that Tim flopped. He scored like 20 points and had like 10 rebounds, but he did foul out. That said, it was easy to see that he was going to be special if you looked at his game and not the scoreboard. And as good as he looked in that game, I had no idea how great he would become.
Can't wait to see Brent's tweets when TP retires, tbh![]()
Nice words by Georgie
The day I dreaded...So long Timmy..
thanks for all memories and enjoy a good post-retirement life..Legend.![]()
Man it's really hitting me hard right now. .
Yeah. Same here. Right in the heart.
My teenage and early adult hood flashed. Not even a goodbye.
Knowing Tim, if it were up to him he'd have them hang up the jersey in the rafters tomorrow and be done with it, ceremonies be damned.
Man these videos. That portion with Tim clutching the first championship trophy and then smiling at the end, man just make me happy and sad.
Watching Game 5 against the Knicks right now is making me just realize how much Duncan accomplished in his career. Seeing him in his second year just dominate in the Finals for his first time just makes your realize just how special players like him are. It just makes me sad but proud that this man, this player was in our city and our team for as many years as he gave us. There will never be another Tim Duncan. He brought our franchise from contenders to a powerhouse. He did that and without him, I shudder to think what our city and our franchise would be today.
Watching the replay of the 99 Championship on NBA TV and Sean, Pop, Robinson, and especially Timmy all look so young.
TD in a memorable scoring duel with Latrell Sprewell.
So many years, so many memories. Thanks TD.
